I was on fire today! Three pictures in total; I'll post the third later. Anyway, this jumped out of my stylus earlier today... it's a Byron with a huge head and a smug smile, evocative of the simpler art styles of 1990s cable television cartoons. Nicktoon, Cartoon Cartoon, Whatever Cartoon.
I can be self-effacing, but you know what, I'm really not a bad artist compared to what's available in 2026. Oh sure, it's anything but painterly, but it's roughly Saturday morning quality, and better than a lot of stuff that got put out over the last quarter century.
South Park is digital construction paper cutouts, Fairly Oddparents has this weird casual relationship with geometry (hey Elmer, cylinders have ROUND ends), and some 21st century cartoons are so bad that they literally cause physical revulsion. Both Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners are a sight for eyesores, and good lord, have you seen that one show Problem Solverz? I don't think I was making art that bad ten years ago. Twenty! Maybe even thirty!
