Recently, I've been inspired to make a redraw of not one but two drawings as I merge them into one way past cool drawing.
The drawing of Amy wearing a big magenta dress was drawn back in the summer (possibly mid-July) of 2005. Although I do not look back upon 2005 fondly, that was when I was really starting to experiement with outfits for Amy, inspired by the red dress she wore in Sonic X episode 14. The original sheet of paper used to make this specific drawing possible still survives more than 21 years later.
My first drawing of Lisa in her Super Seraph form in late 2018 was done in response to me missing out on adopting a seraph fox drawn up by an online friend of mine. I thought about how nice it would've been if that fox was a guardian angel to Lisa, but then I realized that Lisa herself is like a guardian angel herself. What that, I decided to have Lisa's super form be that of a seraph, being the Light of Hope that she is. I chose magenta as her fur color in this form as that was how she was believed to be colored by some friends soon after I adopted her just over a year and a half earlier in early May of 2017. Although I introduced the world to Lisa's super form on Christmas Day 2018, I deliberately chose to finish, sign, and date the drawing on December 6, as that was 15 years to the day I was introduced to what continues to be my favorite outfit for Amy.
Although Lisa's been a huge part of my life for nearly nine and a half years now, today marks seventeen years to when I was first introduced to her. In fact, today is Friday and I was introduced to her on a Friday!
