At the time I was lazy so I didn't make a long series of floating heads. Here's the dialog that follows:
Big Mac: What happened, and where have yah been?
005: Ah can't tell yah everythin', me and mah friends are still in danger, so Ah can't tell yah where we are or what we're doin'. As fer what happened, Ah was foalnapped bah Princess Celestia.
Big Mac: Okay, now Ah know yer real.
008: How does that prove anythin'?
Big Mac: The Aay Jay Ah know would never say somethin' so ridiculous. Yah can't be mah imagination then.
005: It's true though. Ah didn't believe it mahself fer a long time, but she's evil. She just does a good job of hidin' it.
Big Mac: So what happened, and whah do yah look so funny?
005: Do yah remember the day Ah vanished? Ah thought Ah could harvest all these trees bah mahself. Well Ah couldn't. Ah was plum beat over in the west field when two ah Celestia's guards came up and said they had a project goin' on in Canterlot that could make me stronger. Strong enough tah manage the farm bah mahself. Ah could be part of it if Ah wanted.
Big Mac: And Yah took it?
005: Wouldn't you? Course they never mentioned the catch. Once they did it, Ah wasn't allowed tah come home.
Big Mac: Didn't yah try and... Ah don't know, escape?
005: Ah did but then...
008: Ah got mahself killed.
Big Mac: It's mah fault. Ah was in Appleloosa, tryin' tah talk sense intah those morons when Ah should have been here.
008: Big Mac, it ain't yer fault. Ah decided tah go swimmin' that day. Even if yah were there, it still woulda happened.
005: Anyway, when Ah heard, Ah went to Celestia. Ah'd been fightin' everyway Ah could up till then. Disobeyin' orders, breakin' things. Ah went tah her and begged her tah save Apple Bloom.
Big Mac: Ah know this is a stupid question, seein' Apple Bloom here, but they can bring ponies back tah life?
005: Yeah. 004 was dead when she was brought in, and 001 was dying but Ah don't know more than that. She don't like tah talk about it.
Big Mac: Who?
005: Right, they gave us numbers and we had tah use em fer each other. 004 was Rarity, yah know, that dressmaker in town. Yah wouldn't know 001 anyway.
Big Mac: So yah asked Princess Celestia to bring Apple Bloom back tah life. Then what?
005: She said she would if Ah promised tah behave from then on. Ah agreed and did what they told me from then on, until Ah found out they didn't let Apple Bloom go home. Turnin' her intah a weapon wasn't part of the deal. Ah told Celestia the deal was tah save her, not make her a slave like me. She just laughed and said Ah should have been more specific when Ah made the deal.
008: And they weren't very nice either. They gave us all super powers, and mine are all water based, just tah rub it in that Ah drowned.
Big Mac: Super powers?
005: We ain't ponies no more. We're... somethin' else. Part machine. Gave us certain parts tah do certain things. Like Apple Bloom can breath water now. Spike's better at explain' how that works then Ah am.
Big Mac: Spike?
005: He helped us escape. He taught himself how tah fix us. We wouldn't have made it without him.
008: He's a dragon too!
Big Mac: Dragon? Like that one that tried sleepin' near Ponyville?
005: Yah mean the one that 002, and 004 killed. Yeah. That was our first field test, though Ah was still a pony then.
Big Mac: 002?
005: Rainbow Dash, that lazy pegasus from town.
Big Mac: Just how many of you are there?
005: Nine. Ah hope, only nine. When we ran away they had just finished 009, and we broke a lot ah stuff when we escaped.
Big Mac: Anypony else Ah know?
005: Um... 003 is Fluttershy, that real quiet pegasus that lived right down the street. 006 is Pinkie Pie, that pink pony that Apple Bloom nearly killed when she burned down Sugarcube Corner.
008: She was barely hurt at all. They just used it as an excuse to foalnap her.
005: 007 is Rarity's sister, but Ah don't think yah knew her... And 009 is an orphan so yah wouldn't know her either. 001 was foalnapped Ah long time ago, but, as Ah said, she doesn't talk about it, so that's all Ah know. Ah think she's about mah age, but bein' mostly machine like she is, it's hard tah tell.
Big Mac: And you two are?
005: Ah'm 005, and this here's 008.
Big Mac: And the reason yer twice the size now and kinda look like a stallion?
005: They made me super strong so they had tah use bigger parts. Ah'm still a mare where it counts.
Big Mac: And when are yah comin' home?
005: ... Ah don't know if we'll ever be able tah come home. Celestia's wants us back. She's sent ah lot of ponies after us. We're safe now, but who knows fer how long. Then we'll have tah move again. Ah'm takin' a big risk comin' here, but Ah had tah come back. Yah had tah know we were alright.
Big Mac: Ah appreciate it. It's a huge weight off mah heart.
