"Prophecy fulfilled"
Coming across what seemed like a tribe of fish while he was on a dive, Lenn headed over to investigate. They all seemed pretty excited to see him! ...Though he was cautious, remembering what happened last time a tribe he found was happy to see a dolphin. The leader of the tribe came up to him before long, with a crown and staff, and led him to a temple that wasn't far away while many of the other fish followed. It had a mural in it that depicted quite a few dolphins... Including one that looked remarkably like him, complete with his birthmarks. It seemed he was somehow in a prophecy! Now that he knew what kind of importance he had for the tribe, Lenn was able to relax again.
The leader told Lenn that, according to the legend, Lenn should be able to change between anthro and feral forms, which the dolphin confirmed he could do. With that, he was brought to a small, odd-looking structure, and told to swim into its middle. When he did, some kind of ritual began, a blue beam emitting from the leader's staff toward one of the blue gems built into the structure, and similar beams came from other blue sections of it, moving over him. It felt strange as they did... And somehow, he could tell his transformation ability was changing. Improving.
When it was done, Lenn was invited to stick around for a celebration, which he of course agreed to, especially as he was told there was plenty of air stored around so he wouldn't have to surface. This was shaping up to be a pretty great dive!
From here on, Lenn's transformation only takes him a minute instead of half an hour. Been wanting to change that for a while, and this prompt gave a good excuse.
