none of my ocs back then really had any story or even personality, i often referred to them as "a design with a name" for the most part. opposite's only defining traits were that hes stupid and gay LOL, he's sky's boyfriend. when i was figuring out more details for them all years later, like when i decided sky was some sort of weather related species, i made it so opposite is a color related species. and that he's autistic and depressed, instead of just calling him stupid. meee...
i didnt do much for the redesign other than making him a bit fat and giving him a color wheel on his tummy, which i imagine other color cats having that feature, but the left and rightmost colors reflecting their palette, like the whole wheel rotating. i also didnt show it here, but his palmar and plantar pads (the pawpads of the palms and soles) are also color wheels, and his digital pads (toebeans) would just be the darker color of the respective side of his body. ive had that specific idea for some years now, as when i was on furry amino, someone i met there (i dont remember who at all.. sorrys) made a fusion of opposite and one of their characters, and they gave it color wheel pads which i thought was really cool lolol
