I wanted to try doing a larger painting with gouache, so ...here it is! The fox turned out very painterly, which I like, due to the canvas texture and keeping my hand far away from the surface.

I think it has some problems with value structure, but I am really happy with the overall mood of the piece and how it turned out.
This is painted on an 16"x8" Fredrix mixed media nature core panel with a 3/4" depth.
