This tense scene is inspired by Pascal He'rold's 2012 computer animated western film, "Cendrillon au Far West," which was released in the USA as "Cinderella: Once upon a Time in the West." The story is an anthro retelling of Cinderella, but set in the Old West.
In the film, Cinderella has to deal with monkey pirates (yes, pirates) rather than renegade coyote tribesmen. She has plenty of hair's breadth escapes and close calls throughout, but at no point does she have to face that classic peril of the Western genre, i.e. being tied up and burned at the stake!
