And now, the whole world will soon transform into Niko — a twinning that, though the world doesn't think so at the time, is the salvation everyone is looking for.
ALT Description Text (Re-posted): A digital artwork comic sequence / splash page featuring the cat-like Niko from the video game OneShot, attaching the lightbulb-like "Sun" into the top of a tall tower in a nighttime city. The Sun and the tower pulse a bright yellow light across the city, and all who are caught in the light are transformed, twinned, into a copy of Niko. Some don't notice. Some become aware of new personality quirks, habits, and interests. Others fall into a deep hypnosis. Whether those who undergo the transformation retain parts of their former identity or are completely overwritten is ambiguous.
The top panel features Niko finishing climbing the tower. (It is implied they are the same Niko from a pervious TF comic, transformed from a now-former human named Fabio.) Their eyes alight, finding a place to insert the lightbulb-like Sun they carry. A glowing yellow light sweeps from the tower down into the city. A crowd at the very base of the tower immediately twin into Niko, of various reactions and moods.
These various reactions and moods to the TF are shown in the following panels, and feature various original characters.
Left Panel: Dia sits in an office building, glancing out a nearby window, one hand up to shield the eyes from the light entering. The office is being warped and overtaken by The World Machine aesthetic as Dia becomes World Machine Niko.
Right Panel: Jacob the Skare (rabbit and hare hybrid) stares at a hypnotizing screen featuring a close-up of the Sun. Hypnotic swirls emit from the screen and into his eyes.
Bottom-Left: Kammy the Skitty is walking in the park with a hot cocoa. The light shines on their back, and they look back just in time to become Niko.
Bottom-Right: Silver the Absol is sitting in a local cafe. He and the other patrons in the Cafe don't recall ordering pancakes, but they certainly are all enjoying it now!
Bottom: Tabby and Staz are playing OneShot! Now, they get to *live* OneShot! Yes, paws!
