"Double bubble"
On a seabed stroll one day, Blubby came across a large fish of a species he didn't recognize, and one that was surprisingly intelligent as well.
"Hey there little dragon, I'm Gloop! I can give you some air if you need any!" To demonstrate, Gloop blew a large air bubble, seemingly in exactly the way Blubby could! Excited to have met someone else that could do that, Blubby responded in kind, making a big bubble himself.
"Woah, you can do that too? Cool!" The two quickly became friends as they played with their bubble-blowing abilities together, though Gloop's did seem to be better than Blubby's as the fish was able to seemingly generate air inside themselves, never ending up running out. Maybe it was thanks to their gills? If not, Blubby hoped he could learn to do it himself.
