Previously on Oranges to Grapes...
After accepting the spirit of the Crystal Pool (named Pookie)'s challenge to face her as Ogrewood, the Tree of Masks, the Pomegranetes succeed and are allowed to transfer the Terastal energy of Kitakami to Paldea before they return to the community center in Mossui Town...
-
After a long walk back to Mossui Town, the group finally made it back to the community center, tired and ragged. "Okay, everybody," Briar said before the Pomegranetes walked to the back of the atrium, "be sure to get plenty of rest for tonight, because we have a lot of traveling back to Paldea tomorrow."
"Don't have to tell us twice, Ms. Briar," Camilla stated.
"Tell me about it," Pico added. "Visiting Kitakami was fun and all, but I'm looking forward to going back home to Paldea in the morning."
"Whoo, amen to that," Balto finished.
"Good night," all three said, and the door was closed behind them...
-
On the other side of the door, Gari had just gotten out of his room in time to see his fellow students come in. "Oh, hey, guys."
"Hi, Gari," the other Pomegranetes groaned tiredly.
"Don't mind me, I'm just headed to the restroom to freshen up for bed," Gari said as he hobbled on his crutches, a little quicker than usual due to the rest he just got while the others slowly walked to their rooms to put the whole day behind themselves.
"Okay."
"You do that."
"See you in the morning, then."
One by one, three doors were closed behind them, then three beds were flopped on before three sets of heavy eyelids were allowed to shut...

About an hour into their sleep, the three students found themselves back in the honeycomb of light again. That quickly, Terry appeared before them in his hexagonal form and said, "Ah, hello again, Pomegranetes. I trust you have some good news for me this time?"
"As a matter of fact, we do," Camilla confirmed. "After a few days of strenuous footwork, and several rough spots along the way, the three of us have just made a deal with the spirit of the Crystal Pool and sent some of the Terastal energy from Kitakami back to Paldea."
"With how fast light travels," Pico added, "we figured you'd know by now, but the news does bear repeating. But that's not all."
"Oh?" Terry inquired. "There is more?"
"We were also asked to send you a message from the spirit of the Crystal Pool as a favor," Balto said. "And that message is: 'Pookie says you're welcome.'"
"Ah, Pookie," Terry wistfully sighed. "It is comforting to know that after all this time, she has not lost her charming wit."
"Oh, so you know her?" Camilla asked curiously. "Because from what we heard, she seems to know about you."
"Well, of course," Terry said. "She and I are fellow Tera Keepers; guardians of Terastal energy and the lands they reside in... but that is a story for another time. Now that our lands share the energy we govern, she and I can, as you all say nowadays, 'catch up on old times.' And there are so many old times we need to catch up on."
"I can imagine so," Pico quipped.
"So for now, I must leave you three to your own devices until such time when I need to call upon your services again," Terry said as he slowly backed his small form back into the empty slot in the honeycomb. "But thank you all, and Pookie again, for helping restore Paldea's Terastal energy."
"Anytime, Terry," Balto said with a wave. "Bye!"
"Fare thee well..." Terry said before he clicked into place...

Back in the waking world, the dreamers each let a smile spread across their faces in their sleep as they let their unconcious minds carry them where they would...

Meanwhile, back in Paldea.

...which could just as easily be said about a certain bear back in the Academy. After another day of peddling Bubba Ko's Jam throughout the region, Ko was out cold and sleeping soundly in his dorm room's bed... while his Rotom Phone quietly pulsed with light, indicating that he just recieved a text.
