Congratulations, you have won the survey’s lucky draw! Please meet me alone behind Hex Street 34 on 25th August 2026 10pm, within the alleyway to receive your prize: One of Sadelo’s special vials to morph your body into any form you desire!
Holding the golden card within his fingers, Ray gripped against it tighter. This was a bad idea. He simply replied to a survey, asking how much would he pay for his true self. And there, he had it. Won the whole survey’s lucky draw.
But alone in an alleyway? He shook his head. No. What was he even thinking about? This was stupid. So many terrible outcomes awaited him. He might be ambushed, kidnapped or at the very least, got coerced into an awful deal.
Restless energy pulsed down his leg. Almost like a quirk he developed, his feet just kept tapping on the ground, similar to how a rabbit would. He had always wanted to be a rabbit. Always.
And the opportunity was right there for the taking. Just one last decision before he got it.
The body sometimes wouldn’t listen to its master. As the time approached, reluctantly and with anxiety, he got into the car. Slamming it shut, his heartbeat thumped. This… This was a bad idea.
Driving to Hex Street, the man gulped. He arrived slightly early. ‘9:50’. Ten minutes ahead of time. Ray took a deep breath. He should probably call his partner. Just as a contingency plan. Yet, calling them yielded no results. They were probably at work.
A familiar salesman walked past his car. His face sat within the pits of the uncanny valley as he knocked on his door. “Hi there.” However, his voice was as charismatic as when they first met. “Ray, right? Ready for your prize?”
“I-I guess.” He got out of the car. Hesitation being swept away by anticipation. His legs took up the pace and tapped relentlessly on the ground. “I-Is there really no catch to this?”
“Oh, don’t be silly. There won’t be any catch to this.” He said, putting his hands back into his pockets. “It's just a simple back alley deal.”
“R-Right. I don’t like the sound of that.”
The salesman shrugged. With a step back, he blended into the darkness covering his face up. And there, he stretched out a vial. Colorless like water. “Calm down, pal. You got lucky. There really isn’t anything left for you to do.”
The man reached over the vial. There wasn’t anyone else here, he was sure of it. Right? Mere inches from the finishing line and here he was having cold feet. Ah, fuck it. He grabbed the vial. “W-What do I do now?”
“Just visualise what you want to be. The nanomachines will do the rest.”
And in a single gulp, Ray drank it all down. It was tasteless as well but his mind was filled with his fursona — a bunny with bright blonde fur. He closed his eyes. This better worked else… He looked fucking stupid, drinking plain water.
His wishes were heard — the smallest specks of fur popped out around his neck. Eyes lit up as they rounded and grew bigger. Excitement only sparked further excitement as he rubbed against his neck.
Soft fur now covered against his palms. It was really happening. He was turning into a rabbit, the same one he dreamed for months. The salesman chuckled. “You know, in any other scenario, you’ve been fucked.”
“Sorry?” Ray’s human ears flattened out while a pair of bones pushed against the top of his head. In exchange, a few inches were shaved off. His new ears twitched from grabbing against them — bending them around with enhanced hearing.
His nose soon followed suit. Brightening up into a shade of pink and widening out, smells overwhelmed the changing bunny. Yellow fur had already covered most of his body, making him look less human but more rabbit. The softness gently rubbed against the fabric, elating the man further.
While his face rounded out, his formerly thin body pushed out and formed a belly. His face flushed red with his new buckteeth protruding out; two of them from up and down. A snout soon formed, getting pushed out alongside his teeth.
Clothes stretched outwards, trying their best to not break. However, his widening hips had bits of his pants torn. Glancing down, he spotted curves up his rear. One that his partner would appreciate deeply. His shoes, not so much.
Suddenly, they ripped apart from his longer legs. Elongating out, the energy was electric as he tapped the ground with his bare feet. Paws actually. Actual paws. Tears brimmed against his eyes. This was real. He was an actual rabbit.
He scratched against his fur, feeling them fluff up around him. Only one last part was missing. Ray wiggled out of his pants slightly, feeling a force pushing against his spine. His tail was coming out any minute now.
Just like a pop, his tail shot out, wiggling slightly. Though it was small, it gave Ray immeasurable joy, wagging as fast as possible. He glanced back at himself. Shorter, chubbier and yet, truer to himself. He was… An actual rabbit now.
Stroking down his fur, twitching his ears and wagging his tail, euphoria might be the closest word to describe what he was feeling now.
“All done now?” The salesman tipped his hat. “Never understood why you freaks wanted to turn into animals.”
He chuckled. “Maybe you should try it one day.”
“In any other circumstances, you’ll be on the chopping board.” The salesman yawned, beginning to walk off. “I’ll leave it to your weird fantasies then.”
“Thank you so much, Mr!”
“Don’t thank me. Thank your own luck.”
Blending into the shadows, the salesman left just as abruptly as he arrived. Meanwhile, Ray rushed back to his car. There were… Certainly differences with his feet reaching down the handles but it wasn’t so bad.
His destination was set to his partner’s place; wonder how they might respond to see him in this form?
