Character Sheet for Shadowflame
Character Description
Shadowflame is obviously a unicorn pony, with a mix of dark hued blues and purples. He's roughly the same size as the princess' royal guards, which is rare for a unicorn, since physical strength isn't really a requirement for magic. He takes care to keep a clean appearance, keeping his mane and coat clean, though not obsessively.
Personality
Shadowflame tends to be a calm and collected individual, until he is excited by something that he doesn't know about, as he has a tendency to be extremely curious. He will ceaselessly toil to uncover all he can about a subject he doesn't know, sometimes going so far as to push his body's limits. Though, when he recovers from these little bouts of exhaustion, he will laugh it off, resting until he is well again. Despite his usually kind nature, should anyone damage his life's work, or have an intention to misuse it, he will deliver the justice they deserve, be it harsh words, or a harsher punishment.
Likes/Dislikes
Shadowflame likes many things, books being one of his highest preferences. He loves all forms of knowledge, especially the strange and bewildering. He strives to learn all he can of the world and its secrets, traveling when needed or inviting people of interest to his home.
Background/History
Shadowflame was born in Manehattan, but the big city life wasn't really his style. He hated most of his time in the city, as no pony really bothered with a blank flank unicorn at the time. He was even one of the last ponies his age to receive his cutie mark, only able to do so by discovering his talent for uncovering the secrets of the unnatural. His cutie mark, a candle burning with a blue flame, represents his talent for handling the truly strange encounters that the world holds. Once he discovered his true purpose in life, he left Manehattan, on a journey to truly find his place in the world. He searched for a few years, before words of a strange place reached his ears. Hidden deep within the Everfree forest, legend speaks of a mysterious library that only appears on the full moon. A strange legend, and one that proved to be true. Shadowflame discovered the library, and entered despite the warnings of never returning from it. As it happens, the library housed a book of spells, relating of a spell that would grant the caster an entrance into and out of the library, in the exact place they had entered it before. With this knowledge, he began researching in the library, reading all it had to offer, which wasn't much, despite the massive amounts of books. So, he decided he would do what should be done, and complete the library's collection. He began traveling the world, discovering more secrets of the world and documenting them in his library. His collection has grown, but remains mostly empty for now.
Relatives/Family
Shadowflame has both his mother and father, as well as an older sister and younger sister. He speaks with all of them on occasion and visits them regularly, but he isn't really close to any of them.
