We did this really neat thing in our D&D game where our characters got memories returned to them that had been stolen by the Big Bad, but we got to actually RP out the 'cutscene' as NPCs around the character reliving the memory.

I got to make the mother of one of our PCs! Her name is Litho, she is technically an MMO NPC. I love her.
