Welcome to the planet Peldresar, Home of the most advanced technology for light years around and a people who resemble a cross between man and animal intergalactic biologists categorize collectively as Ani-Sapiens. They're well known throughout the universe for their unique interplanetary and interdimensional travel methods. They also have the least corrupt politicians anywhere in their own galaxy. Despite their biodiversity, the Peldresari have the capability to have mis-matched parents. Unlike how it would normally go, the resulting child has a chance of either becoming the father's species, the mother's or both. However, Mammalian and Reptilian pairings are rare.
In this world was born a rather unique young lady named Claudia Wylde. What makes her so unique? You see, her parents donated their pregnancy to a project by Lupington Pharmaceuticals. This project was named Project Wylde in honor of the volunteering couple's family. The intent of the project was to bioengineer a life form that would be the pinnacle of health using all-natural methods. They soon learned that they accidentally made the recipe for Peldresar's ultimate superweapon instead. Under a request from Company President, Charles Lupington, two of the three scientists behind the project decided they would dispose of the notes and devote the rest of their lives to forgetting this dangerous recipe, vowing to do everything in their power to help the couple let their child live a peaceful life.
The third scientist, however, planned to sell this "Miracle Formula" to the military. But, the CEO had another plan in mind; Replicate the substance produced by the child (Now dubbed "Compound W") and create their OWN super soldiers to usurp control over all of Peldresar and eventually, conquer the universe! Catching wind of this plan, Dr. Gregory Fowler ordered his assistant, Robert Stock and his wife, Akiko to hide the family somewhere safe, guard the only existing copy of the formula with his life and monitor the girl as she matured. He first suggested a Lupington-Owned lake house, but, it was recently condemned. Instead, they fled to Kalavtha City to live as the staff for a then-struggling pizza emporium located two miles in the outskirts. The fruit of the project, little Claudia herself was at first considered (For the most part) unsuccessful as she grew up rather fragile and couldn't walk outside on her own without a special belt. But, at the age of 7, while looking intensely in the mirror, her body began glowing and she started writhing in pain over it.
Fowler anticipated this would happen based on all of her tests at that point, so, he and Baxter created a special pod that would ease her pain until the phenomenon ran its course by putting her in suspended animation without stunting her physical growth. Ten years passed since that fateful night and Claudia emerged with a few changes; While her body matched her age in size and shape, her hair and fur colors were different from when she entered the pod. Other changes included an inexplicable increase of her overall intelligence, her physical capabilities enhanced tenfold and a few other abilities not listed here. However, in personality, she was still the kind-hearted little girl she was that decade ago...Unless somebody upset her bad enough...But, that's not important to the story right now.
What IS important is, in those ten years, her mother had passed. What remained of the odd family lost contact with "Uncle Greg" and "Grampa Chucky" the day Claudia was awakened. To make matters worse, it's been rumored that Lupington Pharmaceuticals has gone into the armament trade following both disappearances. What could have happened to them? Why is a company dedicated to medicine going against its own business model? Who's in charge of the company now? Why the heck am I asking a bunch of random people on an internet art-submitting website all of these questions they wouldn't even have the answers to!? Come with us to find out the answers to these and more questions (Except for that last one) as Peldresar becomes the testing grounds for a new and dangerous arms race!
