Character Description
Miles is a demi-human fairy, appearing as an early/mid teen, although having lived for a long time. His appearance is due to his fairy blood, which will keep him looking younger.
Height - 160cm
Weight - 50kg
Fairy blood gives him blue eyes, but when his magic is spent, they turn brown. If charged with enough magic power, his eyes and hair begin to glow and turn blue, with extreme quantity of mana turning his hair white.
Personality
Cheerful, active and inquisitive. Helpful to any people in crisis, he will disregard his safety at times to save others.
Likes/Dislikes
Miles loves eating new foods, enjoys traveling with new friends. He prefers beastkin for his companions, specifically catfolk and otterkin companions. He dislikes injustice, torture, suffering of others, especially children and elderly. Enjoys learning new skills and observing magic to memorize new arts.
Background/History
Found by a lake by the next in line human to rule the Holy Kingdom, Miles was initially named as Ozurian (he who was found under the stars) in the Goldentongue. He grew up as an aide and adopted brother to the king's son, who became a tyranical ruler in his time. Once he reached teenhood, he started noticing the injustice of his brother, when he took the crown, and decided to leave the kingdom. Ozurian decided to change his name, adopting Miles Waltz as his new calling. Miles traveled across the Old Continent, experiencing a lot of the world and befrending multiple non-human folk. He saved and adopted twin namuru beastkins - a boy and a girl, whom he trained in the arts of mimicry and combat to defend themselves. During the War of the Second Alliance, Miles played a pivotal role in dismantling the Order of the Blood Knights, lead the assault on the capital and personally killed his adoptive brother Farrian, the High King of Humanity. He then returned to traveling the world, exploring with his companions or in rare cases, has been seen traveling alone.

World/Setting
The world of Azoria is a closed off system where elemental leylines protect it from cosmic horrors. Magic is prevailent, powerful and channeled via the worlds' leylines. Any living being which dies in this world has its soul turned to shards of essence which can be used as currency, or turned into azorites - elemental stones with properties to enhance, protect or allow for technological leaps. The setting is high fantasy with glimpses of sci-fi, based in the ancient history of the world. It contains various races and creatures, including:

Body
Skin is clear, slightly tanned, hair is a bit messy, with the most important aspect of his body is that his height has stopped increasing due to his fairy heritage. Eyes change color based on the concentration of magic in his body, as well as his hair. Eyes and hair turn aquamarine blue, and hair might turn white if oversaturated with mana.
Clothing
He's equipped with a magic living scarf, which contains a grimoire embedded in it's cloth. It allows for powerful spellcasting and protection, can carry Miles and others, as well as grab items and objects. This is another reason why Miles doesn't wear shoes, since he can "walk" with his scarf if needed. The remaining clothes are items he's collected over his adventures and have some elemental protection due to azorite stones.
Accessories
Shard sword - a sword that Miles keeps hidden in a pocket dimension. This blade is created using a special handle and shards of essence, making it extremely difficult to break.
Protective charms - mostly sewn into his gear, these small trinkets offer minimal boosts to his capabilities.
