Her purple visor can perceive supernatural energies, while her talismans seal dangerous entities within her own code. Accompanied by mysterious blue flames, she travels through abandoned temples and nocturnal cities, searching for lost souls who need to find their way. Although her presence may seem frightening, beneath her ceremonial garments lies a kind protector who never abandons a spirit trapped in darkness. Over time, her legend grew until she became a divine figure known as the Jiangshi who guides the dead toward the light.
