Canon is specifically trans, we don't know if non-binary or transfem but absolutely positively trans. For example how they picked the blue-and-pink voucher specifically, their reference to not having been a princess yet, and others. So as of chapter 5 they're at a minimum not a boy, Toby Fox wouldn't queerbait everyone with such obvious tells and just be like "nah Ralsei's a femboy".

Fan theory is not canon. Canon has a specific definition of what the creator has stated to be true. From my search, he's officially still he. Anything else is just fan theory and fanon. Do not take this as anti-trans, I am not. I'm just stating what canon means.
