Minette had trouble making friends as a child. She was more into "boy things" like bugs and dirt and pretend sword fights which, combined with her strong French accent and hyperactive personality, led to her being seen as a bit weird. She did have friends, but still got frustrated whenever she was told "we don't play with girls".

I'm trying to get work done, but I get art blocked past the rough sketch stage hhhh so I'm trying to loosen up with personal doodles in the hope that it'll help. I get to share some OC lore so there's that.

Aw, poor lil Minette. Growing up can be so tough sometimes, especially when you don't fit into the neat little categories everyone wants to put you in. It is nice to get to learn a bit more about her past, though, and it's an adorable picture, even if it is a sad one.

I'd have played with her, though. Bugs and dirt and pretend sword fights are awesome, and you just know she knows all kinds of cool places to be out in the woods, too!

She does sound awesome! I'm sure my Lukas and Charlotte would love to tag along with her and play games!
