I made this back ~1993, before i even knew of the furry fandom, or of fursuits at all!

The best i could find for a base was a unitard. I had to cut out cardboard to stretch the fabric for each part in order to hand paint each scale on it. My grandmother made the hood, which again i painted.

These photos were taken some years later, when i finally found the fandom and started going to furcons :)

If anyone wants to see what i looked like when i was wearing it, pm me ;3 I'm gonna be busy all of today, so it'll be probably tomorrow until i get to any requests.

It certainly seemed so to me! A weekend project for my grandmother, i was certainly thankful for her help with that :)

Ah, thst must have been 2 or 3 years before I found furry; I remember so much more variation in costumes back then. I think I remember seeing a picture of that dragon suite back when.

It's been really fun seeing you reminisce, brings back a lot of good memories. Furry's been a nice home these last few decades, hasn't it? I think I saw your booth banner in person, though my memory is fuzzy enough it's hard to say.

It really has been. It's been the driving force of my life. I mean, like, all of it. Robin Hood came out a few years before i was born, so i grew up on that, literally. And yeah, no worries on the banner, no idea how many cons i actually brought it to :3
