That's how I see the 2003 Cobalt and MLP-based Silver Lining. These two brothers are destined to stick together through the easy times when they're just playing around, and in the tough times when they battle evil-doers.
Too bad the original Astro Boy didn't meet his brother for more than a few moments. He was just a prototype after all, just as much power but with a less-developed brain. The Cobalt is probably the more improved model.
