GI Joe: Retaliation opened in IMAX last week, and I have to admit, I was kinda excited for it. I couldn't help but be impressed with the trailer, and seeing the theoretical "Rods From Gods" system in use (I will have to add this to one of my stories)...
I suspected it was going to be bad, and while it wasn't good, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I don't remember so much of GI Joe from my youth. It was kinda old when I was growing up, and was mostly just run in syndication, but my parents didn't want me seeing it. "Too violent", they said. As most of you probably know by now, I usually commission art for media that interests me when it's about to be released. So this was a "first" for me in that... I really don't know much about GI Joe. But one thing I do know is that Baroness looks really hot in that armored catsuit. And so would I. ^.^
And thus, here ya go. :)
Movie might not have been great, but the artwork is! Enjoy ^.^

also the movie was fucking awesome. I liked the Zeus system. Theoretically that would be possible because your using the same principle as dropping an asteroid on a city. Also I liked Dwayne Johnson as lead role. He has come a long way in his acting career.
