I chose my name because I'm a Beatles fan. Many Beatles collectors like to kvetch about what Capitol records did to their albums but I've always liked them, hence capitoldefense.

Capital is why we have the current situation. The capitalist class (rich fucks) are the problem. They're artificial scarcity and inflation in the price of goods - not to mention the control over media via buyouts and shell companies - causes a fight between the lowers classes to keep solidarity from happening.

The elites control the ones below in every theory of economy or government that you can think of, at least with capitalism you can climb a little if you get lucky or know how to get attention of people the right way

"at least you can be lucky and climb the ladder to become one of the elites!"

Hey, how about we work towards building an economic order where the elites cease to exist entirely? That's sounds better for all those people who didn't get lucky and I inherit a company from their parents or the profits from an emerald mine.

If it works, it would be great, but I don't think it would work this way simply because people will want to be at the top of someone so even if a fairer distribution of resources would be nice, someone will be hoarding stuff

thats called corruption and would be a crime. crime will still happen and would still need to be fought against, so you're not really making any point here. corruption already happens and to a much worse extent than it possibly could under socialism

Well, I don't know enough about socialism and I don't want to keep arguing against you, so I'll just take your word for it as a nice thought that probably won't happen (as in, this 'shift' to socialism probably won't happen)

I prefer liberation from oppression and exploitation.

The problem is that a lot of people (primarily Americans, and especially right leaning Americans) conflate leftism, liberalism, progressivism, marxism, etc. as if they were synonymous and interchangeable terms.
Pokefound
2 weeks, 2 days ago
true, and liberals themselves conflate liberalism and leftism, while actual leftists (anti-capitalists) have their position pushed to the margins as "extremist" by both liberals and conservatives who both uphold the capitalist system

Yep. Unfortunately political discourse in the U.S. is boiled down to a cartoonishly oversimplified false dichotomy. Of course, that's by design, since the current system requires an electorate ignorant enough to vote against its own interests.

As relevant in 2026 as it was in 1926.

People are becoming increasingly disillusioned with bourgeois democracy, realizing that elections under capitalism only decide which party gets to take up the job of crushing and suppressing the masses. Tory or Labour, Republican or Democrat, it has only gotten more blatant with each election season that the entire system was designed to protect the interests of the economic elite at the expense of working people.

I'd encourage reading more works on anarchist critique of state based means of "worker ownership". Unity of means and ends 🌸

I've read lots of things from both the authoritarian and anti-authoritarian organizational modes and found flaws in each, but the scales of the flaws reduce in impact the more horizontal you make things.

Love the direction tho 🌸🌸🌸

False Revolutionary. Everyone knows Voxelism is the True Revolution.

According to the first pillar of Voxelism in the Apex Directorate "Marx had failed to specify who the proletariat and Bourgeoise are. The Merited Proletariat represent scientists, engineers, civil servants, farmers, small business owners, entrepeneurs and most importantly and most oppressed of the proletariat "the soldier" whereas the Bourgeoise is the billionaires, welfare leeches and the politicians.

the second pillar also reminds the revolutionary that there are not one, but 2 revolutions...the revolution of self-actualization (overthrowing the inner bourgeoise in your mind. the one that leads to stalins and pol-pots)  and the revolution of functionality where the merited proletariat seize the means of valuation and establish the final phase of human governance

a social darwinist militarized meritocracy that shall expand beyond earth.

using a new theory of economics known as "alchemical economic theory" which applies the first law of alchemy "Equivalent Exchange" to the economy boiling it down to a basic science.

reject class conciousness and embrace sacred conciousness. the true evolution is Sacred Conciousness.

Utopias are impossible, but empires are achievable...

Humanity must evolve by any means necessary.

oh great, a voxelist who thinks the revolution should only focus on human evolution and meritocracy while maintaining total authoritarian rule.

i am actually using some of the lore from my own series that i work on. yes i use 2 different accounts and Voxelism isn't a actual ideology (even though i spent way too much time writing it up)

Basically, Voxelism and the Voxel Dominion is basically an ideology that is about "ignore class struggle or nationalism or race theory, lets evolve the human race and go conquer the stars and uplift other races. so i kinda went overboard with them being a mix of alot of other political extremes

they use alot of revolutionary lingo "seize the means of valuation, merited proletariat, the vanguard race, revolution of self actualization and revolution of functionality. Sacred Conciousness."

they also use national myth like nationalists but reject the idea of ubermensch because the ideology believes everyone is equally worthless until they prove themselves (basically making the ubermensch have to compete with an ever-evolving humanity)

and the Voxel Dominion are basically the first and only Voxelist state in the fictional series i write (basically a militarized social darwinist meritocracy using the 1st law of alchemy as the foundation for their economy)

in the narrative they are effectively the villain but also the economic center as this takes place during the "Golden Age of mercenaries"

(i got way too many google docs of this lore.)

Redigan716

i am aware. and thats fine if you think it is. the dominion are meant to be villains in the lore.

the lore takes place in a weird alternate history earth where magic exists and the divergence point is that a group called the 4 channelers (aka 4chan) defeated scientology during the 1st battle of LA. a 3rd party president named Sidemis Grimm who is isolated between a 50/50 split between democrats and republicans expands the secret service via the Next Generation Soldier Iniative (simulation trained operators which the simulations were made by Hideo Kojima) and the creator of voxelism (Hector Harken) basically was the lead NGSI instructor until he faked his death.

oh and the kiwi farming company (guess who they are) became the mercenary guild. outsourcing mercs to various clients. and then ACAB Happened and as the police became defunded, mercenaries were hired to replace them...riots happened...then these riots became battles, Gamergate hit and shortly after the simulations, blueprints for the machines and the source code leaked leading to gamers getting access to operator level training...

the USA becomes the Holy Roman States of America and becomes a federation of microstates, southern california becomes the people's republic of california.

thus begins the setting as the voxel dominion is currently trying to take over the world and flood the world with solid gold, silver and platinum. this era and the 1st season is just called "The Golden Age of Mercenaries"

and the main character (Shay Arryn: Libertarian, Utah Country boy, Ex NGSI, Mercenary) is the former student of the Hector Harken (who is effectively the villain) and
