Persecuted for his freezing touch wrapping Kue's pride and joy under ice, Valen decided to take his curse with him to the farthest frozen stretches of the dragon world, leaving Genom, Devuss and Chiana behind (but most especially, Genom, who liked him).
For once a front facing image more or less looks right. Used the horizontal flip feature to spot inconsistencies caused by my hand's bias, even when realistically, I wouldn't be making a perfectly symmetrical image.
First time using a higher layer for features other than the eye highlights. The Dragon Story design of Valen kinda necessitated a different approach, and I think it works as good as the sprite has it.
