Given his general proclivities and if this were Dragon Age...I'd guess possessed by a Desire Demon. However, Witcher doesn't have those that I'm aware of - not that I'm well-versed in the supernatural side of The Witcher beyond the fact that they have undead, werewolves, and Lovecraftian Horrors.

Possessed? Sounds like comp out to me. He doesn't understand what is up with Finn so falls back on an easy answer. Like how modern people chalk up every unexplained thing to aliens.

let's say fobos is right; the entity that entered (how?) finn's body allows him to exist normally; body functions and behavour hasn't changed, and he is not aware to host such being...
but fobos mutagen will alter deeply the how the body works, and possibly this is not allowed by the entity; surrounding finn's body seems to hint at a defense measure against the mutagen «attack»..
even when hades had sex with finn there has been a possibly negative reaction to the witcher's mutated dick & sperm (the green glow).
everybody else here has done the treatment, so changing body isn't possible; is finding a new «clean» body and moving there the entiy a possible solution? the story is young, and things can go in so many different directions...
