Part 2 of my America 250 sports Manic The Hedgehog and Queen Aleena showing off the Guilford Courthouse flag. Unlike the Betsy Ross flag, this flag, claimed to have been flown at the 1781 Battle of Guilford Courthouse in Greensboro, North Carolina, may not be as well known, but it does have some interesting features. Instead of a blue canton with white five-pointed stars like most U.S. flags, this one has a long, white, rectangular canton with blue eight-pointed stars. In addition, instead of red and white stripes like most U.S. flags, this one has red and blue stripes.
