This is Kai, he's Nushi's Baby Daddy. (Lynda's too)
He's a very complex character to talk about.
In short, he's a ruler and king in the underworld.
He can travel from the afterlife to the living anytime.
He wants 100% control & rule over all he owns.
But how does he plan to control those who disobey?
I wouldn't want to spend much time to find out...
He's also immortal so he's not going anywhere!
One more thing, this is Nushi without the yellow in her hair.
So that usually means it was before her death.
