The group assembles for a photo! It was well worth going the extra mile to draw younger versions of them. I did my best to make it look like a photo from the early 2000s.
I borrowed a concept I got off of Beastars. It just so happens that Gobi Bears, Sun Bears, Polar Bears and Pandas are on the endangered species list. So I figured, endangered species get government assistance depending on level. So why not have them be childhood friend because of that? Like how people of certain classes stick together.
Hayley, a variant of brown bear classified as critically endangered
Bessie and Gigi would be considered "vulnerable", i think. So would Joselynn about a decade ago.
And Rumi, a black bear. Not endangered but she's cousins with Hayley, so eh.
