Chapter 2: “The Prologue, Part 2”
That night, Jaden was sleeping in his bed, and while he did, he was having a nightmare.
In it, a group of bullies wouldn’t stop making fun of him again.
“Look at the big baby fox!” Called one.
“Yeah, he’s such a big baby!” Called another. “Wearing diapers and all that!”
“S-stop it…” Jaden cried meekly.
“Whaddaya gonna do baby?” The bully said, mocking him. “You gonna cry?”
Jaden did indeed start crying, and by the time the dream ended he shot awake crying.
This caused his parents, Merlin and Amelia, to run into his bedroom.
“Jaden!” Amelia said. “What’s the matter?”
“Son, what’s wrong?” Merlin asked.
“Mom! Dad!” Jaden said. “I had a bad dream!”
“About you being bullied again?” Merlin said.
“Uh-huh…” Jaden said.
“Oh dear…” Merlin said.
Just then, Jaden’s older brothers, Jarrod and James came into the room. “Mom? Dad? What’s going on?”
“Your little brother just had another nightmare…” Amelia said.
“Oh dear, poor Jaden…” Jarrod said.
“Yeah…” Agreed James.
Amelia then felt Jaden’s diaper. “Honey? Jaden’s wet…”
“I’ll change him.” Merlin said. Amelia then handed Jaden over to Merlin, and he placed him on the changing table. He untaped Jaden’s soaked diaper, balled it up and threw it away. Then he wiped Jaden’s crotch and butt with wipes, got a new diaper, powdered him, opened it up and taped it up. “There, Jaden’s all better.”
Just when they were about to place Jaden back in his bed, Jaden began to whine and cry again. “Son? What’s wrong?” Jaden didn’t give an answer; he just continued to whine and cry.
“What’s wrong with him now?” Amelia asked. “Is he too scared to go to sleep?”
“It seems like it…” Jarrod said.
“Oh dear… what do we do Merlin?” Amelia asked.
“Maybe we should let Jaden sleep with us.” Merlin said. “That always makes him feel better when he’s scared or has a bad dream.” Then he turned to his son and said, “Son? Do you want to sleep with me and your mother tonight?” Jaden nodded yes without saying a word.
So Merlin and Amelia carried Jaden to their bedroom and laid him down next to them, and shortly after, the three went to sleep.
The very next morning, Jaden had his diaper changed and he went to have breakfast with his family.
Later, Jaden was out and about walking all by himself when the same group of fox bullies who hassled him before were bullying him again.
“Look! It’s the BABY!” Called one of the fox bullies.
“You gonna go potty in your diaper again baby?!” Called another bully.
“S-stop it!” Jaden said, meekly. “Leave me alone!”
One bully pushed Jaden to the ground making him cry, and the other bullies just laughed at him. Jaden was so upset that he ran home in tears.
Jarrod answered the door and was immediately concerned. “Jaden, what happened?”
Jaden was so upset he couldn’t get the words out, but Jarrod had a hunch what it was. “It was your bullies again, wasn’t it?”
Jaden sniffled and cried. “Uh-huh…”
“Jaden, you can’t let this continue to bother you.” Jarrod said.
“What’s wrong with Jaden?” James asked.
“He’s had ANOTHER bullying incident, James.” Jarrod said.
“Again?” James said. “He had another one yesterday!”
“I know!” Jarrod said.
“It’s not fair!” Jaden said.
“We know lil bro.” Jarrod said.
“Yeah,” Agreed James. “It’s not your fault you were diagnosed with a condition you can’t control.”
“I know…” Jaden said. “I just want the bullying to stop…”
“We ALL do.” James said. “But hiding from the world isn’t gonna do it.”
“Then what will?!” Jaden said. “I’ve suffered enough already!”
“Uhhh…” Jarrod said, at a loss for words.
“You know what?” Jaden said. “Screw this, I’m outta here!” And just like that, Jaden simply ran away from home.
“What the!?” Jarrod said as Jaden zoomed by him and James and darted straight out the front door.
“Jaden, come back!” he shouted. But it was no good. He was long gone in just under a minute.
“Oh god! Jaden just took off!” James said. “Jarrod, what do we do?!”
“Well, there’s only one thing we can do about it.”” Jarrod answered as he got out his phone and called their father, Merlin.
“Dad, we have a situation!” Jarrod said with worry in his voice. “Jaden’s run away!”
“WHAT?!” Merlin said. “Why?!”
“He had another bullying incident, worse than before.” Jarrod said. “It was so bad he decided to run away from home!”
“Oh no… this is not good…” Merlin said. “I’d better call your uncle Amadeus right away.”
Meanwhile, you and James should make some posters with Jaden’s face on it to be put all over town.”
“James has to be to work actually, but I’ll make the posters and I’ll also tell mom what happened too.” Jarrod said.
“And I’ll tell my coworkers as soon as I get there,” James told Jarrod as he left for work.
“The more people we have looking for our little brother, the more likely we’ll find him.” Jarrod said.
“Right!” Merlin said.
As soon as Merlin hung up the phone with Jarrod, Jarrod then called his mother. “Mom, bad news! Jaden’s run away from home!”
“He WHAT?!” Amelia said. “Oh no, poor Jaden! What happened?”
Jarrod then explained the whole thing to his mom. Amelia gasped in horror. “He had another bullying incident?”
“Oh yeah…” Jarrod said. “But this time was worse. It was so bad he just took off!”
“Oh dear…” Amelia said. “I’ll be sure to let my friends know about it too.”
“Great, thanks Mom!” Jarrod said. “Love you!” Shortly after that he hung up the phone.
Meanwhile, with Jaden, he was wandering Mobius alone. He didn’t care where he went as long as he was far away from those who bullied him.
“I gotta get away from the people who bullied me!” Jaden said. “I don’t feel safe!”
As Jaden wandered, a blue 17-year-old diaper-wearing hedgehog was running around, but Jaden took no notice.
As he saw a flash of blue speed by, he said, “Huh? What was that?” Then he saw another and said, “There it is again!” Jaden, growing ever the more curious, decided to follow it. Eventually,
Jaden bumped right into the mysterious blue hedgehog.
“Hey! Watch where you’re going!” The hedgehog said.
“Sorry…” Jaden said. “I was just curious. What were you doing?”
“Just doing what I do best. Running around!” The hedgehog said.
“Who are you?” Jaden asked.
“I’m Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog.” Sonic said. “Who are you?”
“I’m Jaden.” Jaden said. “Jaden Prower.”
“Jaden Prower?” Sonic asked. “You must be one of my best bud’s cousins.”
“You know my cousin?!” Jaden said shocked.
“Yep, I do.” Sonic said. “His name’s Miles, but I call him Tails.”
“Tails, huh?” Jaden said. And then he looked down at what the blue hedgehog had on his waist and said, “And is that a diaper you have on?”
“Eeyup!” Sonic said as he patted his pamp. “You like it?”
“Yeah I do…” Jaden said. “Do you pee and poop in them too?” Then a hissing sound could be heard coming from Sonic’s diaper as it gained a slight shade of yellow in the front of it. As soon as Sonic finished peeing in his diaper, he said, “Does that answer your question?”
“Yes.” Jaden said. Jaden’s stomach growled due to hunger.
Sonic took notice of this and said. “Are you hungry, Jaden?”
“Yeah…” Jaden said. “But shouldn’t you get changed first?”
“Yeah, you’re right.” Sonic said. “Excuse me for a sec.” And then he used his supersonic speed to change his own diaper. “And done,” he said.
“Wow.” Jaden said in amazement. “How did you change your diaper so fast?”
“I’m Sonic!” Sonic said. “I’m the fastest thing alive!”
“Amazing!” Jaden said, then his stomach growled again.
“Come on kid, let’s get you something to eat.” Sonic said. Soon, the two diapered boys walked together to a stand that was selling Sonic’s favorite food – chilidogs.
“Mm-mm!” Sonic said. “That sure smells good!”
“Yeah!” Jaden said, sniffing the air. “It sure does!”
However, Sonic and Jaden soon discovered that they weren't alone, because there was the sound of tails moving in a helicopter-like motion. Sonic knew who that was.
“It’s Tails!” The blue hedgehog pointed in the direction the sound was coming from, and Jaden looked in that direction himself. And lo and behold. It was indeed the diaper-wearing two-tailed fox himself flying towards them.
“I found Jaden, Uncle Merlin,” Tails said while talking on his phone and flying. “He’s with my best buddy, Sonic.”
“What a relief” Merlin said on the line. “When you get to Jaden, please bring him back home!”
“I will, don’t worry.” Tails said before he hung up. However, Tails was momentarily distracted by the smell coming from the chilidog stand. “Mm… is that chilidogs I smell?”
Tails followed the scent right to Sonic and Jaden.
“Miles?!” Jaden said, shocked. “What are you doing here?”
“I heard about you running away and went to go looking for you at once,” Tails answered.
“You really cared that much about me cuz?” Jaden asked.
“Heck yeah I do,” Tails answered.
“Well, it’s good to see you again.” Jaden said. “I suppose we both suffered horrible bullying, huh?”
“Yeah. We did,” Tails agreed.
“Wait…” Sonic said. “You BOTH suffered horrible bullying?!”
“You didn’t know, Sonic?” Tails asked. “Jaden was also a bullying victim too, like me. The other kids wouldn’t stop picking on him.”
“Yeah…” Agreed Jaden. “They kept picking on me because I had an issue I have no control over… and it SUCKS!”
“Indeed.” Agreed Tails.
“Wow… I had no idea…” Sonic said.
“Well now you do.” Tails said. “But we’ll talk more about that later.”
“My family’s probably worried sick about me, aren’t they cuz…?” Jaden said.
“You bet!” Tails stated, then the two-tailed fox heard Jaden’s stomach growl. “But before we do that, you sound hungry, Jaden.”
Tails’ own stomach growled. “Sounds like you’re hungry too cuz.”
“Yeah…” Tails said, rubbing the back of his head nervously. “I kinda like chilidogs too.”
“You do?” Jaden said surprised.
“Yup. I do.” Tails said.
“Cool.” Jaden said. After the three boys ordered their chili dogs they went over to a nearby picnic table to eat their chilidogs. “Mm, delicious!” Jaden said.
“Uh-huh!” Agreed Tails.
However, after finishing their chilidogs, Sonic heard an ominous rumble coming from the two boys, he knew all too well what that meant. “Do you two have to go poopy?”
Tails and Jaden each gave a loud toot and blushed as a result, so they nodded yes to Sonic’s question.
“I have a problem with them…” Jaden admitted.
“Yup, you sure do cuz.” Tails said. Then the two boys squatted down and took a massive dump in their diapers. Shortly after, Jaden flooded his diaper. “Oh no, not again…”
“What’s wrong?” Sonic said.
“Oh you’ll have to excuse him, Sonic.” Tails said. “My cousin has a bladder defect…”
“Miles…!” Jaden said. “Did you HAVE to say that out loud?!”
“Sorry, Jaden,” Tails said. “I forgot how upset you get when we tell people about your little issue…”
“It’s fine.” Jaden then heard a hissing noise coming from his cousin. “Miles…?”
Miles blushed. “Eeyeah… I had to go too.” 20 seconds later, Tails sighed in relief.
“Are you two feeling better?” Sonic asked.
“Yeah, much better…” Jaden said.
“Uh-huh…” Tails said.
“Alright, are you two ready to be changed?” Sonic asked.
“Yes, Sonic.” The two boys said, and then the two foxes followed Sonic to a private area where Sonic could change their diapers.
“Here we go, here’s a nice spot where you two can get changed.” Sonic said.
“Thanks, Sonic.” Miles said.
“Who’s going first?” Sonic asked.
“After you, Miles.” Jaden said.
“No, after YOU, Jaden.” Tails said.
“Oh, alright then.” Jaden said. “If you insist.”
So, Jaden got up on the changing table first, and as Sonic got ready, Jaden started to giggle.
This got Sonic thinking. “Hey kid, you got more in there?”
“Maybe…?” Jaden said.
Sonic then started tickling the bajeebers out of Jaden, making him pee more. After a while of being tickled, Jaden’s pee flows died down, and sighed in relief.
“There, that’s better.” Sonic said. Then Sonic untaped Jaden’s used diaper, balled it up and threw it away, then he wiped Jaden’s butt and crotch with wipes before getting the new diaper, opening it up, and taping it on the kid before doing the same thing for his buddy Tails.
After that, Sonic said, “There, now doesn’t that feel better you two?”
“Yeah, it does.” Jaden said. “Thanks Sonic.”
“Yeah, thanks.” Tails said.
“You’re welcome.” Sonic said. “Now let’s get going!”
“Right!” Tails said.
Soon after that, the trio started heading back towards Jaden’s house. But then suddenly, Jaden found himself trapped in a GIANT net!
“HELP! GUYS HELP ME!” Jaden shouted. “GET ME OUTTA HERE!”
“Don’t struggle kid.” Rough said. “You’re coming with us!”
“Yeah!” Agreed Tumble. “You’re trapped kid!”
With that the two skunks started on their way to Eggman’s island fortress with Jaden in tow.
