Emanants are living auramancy which require a host aura to join with, from this they benefit from their host's memories and an extended lifespan, and in turn the host gains access to the emanant's incredible energy and wellspring of wisdom.
But Sone's relationship with Fajra goes a little bit closer than a symbiote and their host; after all a host's memories may alter the personality of an emanant considerably, so most enact a selection-process, and there is no shortage of candidate hosts.
