So me and Vulpa wanted to give them a hug and some relief in that hard moment.

If you´re an Argentinian fur you must know what im talking about.

For the rest of the community members who are mostly english speakers and maybe aren´t familiar with the character, the picture is a homage to an Argentinian cartoonist that passed away and was very famous in Argentina, his name was Manuel Garcia Ferre. Here you can find a short bio about him https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manuel_Garcia_Ferre

I used to watch and love some of his works as well, many of his characters entertained and been cherished by many generations of children in Argentina, alot of people grew up watching his cartoon creations.

I always feelt a great devotion to him and his work as well, although i never did meet him personally, since some of the first cartoons and animated movies i ever watched were made by him, my favourite one was without doubt "Ico el caballito valiente"

The character that is leaving like a spirit with angel wings is Anteojito©, which was Ferre himself in his cartoon alter ego.

The penguin on Vulpa´s arms is Petete© and was from a sucessful educative show franchise he created.

The guy with the funny hairstyle close to Vulpa was Calculin© and he was from a popular educative section from his succesful children magazine "Anteojito"

The scarecrow boy was one of the characters that Ferre feelt more care for, his name was Trapito© and he was like some kind of scarecrow version of Edward scissor hands >X), although this characters was created many years ago before Edward scissorhands were created.

The other kid with funny hat was Hijitus© and was the main character of Ferre´s cartoon series "Las aventuras de super Hijitus" it was the first argentinian cartoon series for TV and was so succesful and remembered that it´s still aired nowdays in Argentina.

The big mouse guy i´m embracing is Larguirucho© and he´s Ferre most famous and recalled character, at least in Argentina, he appears like wildcar and comic relief character in almost all Ferre´s cartoons or animated movies.

the big cowoy chicken on the right corner is Pi-pío© he was Ferre´s first creation, or at least his first succesful creation, which initiated him as profesional comic cartoonist on the oldest and most famous children magazine in Argentina know as "Billiken"

And the last character, the other one im embracing is ICO© from Ferre´s animated movie "Ico el caballito valiente" One of my most favourite animated movies ever, also he was my favourite character from Ferre´s list. It´s very interesting how he was ahead of his time with the horses desing in that movie since many years later, the ponies design on the series MLP FIM is very similar to the ones in ICO´s movie >;)

I would liked to draw all the characters in the pic, but since Ferre´s list of characters is huge, the picture would took me too much time, besides there wouldn´t be enough tisues for all the tears in the pic ¬_¬
So i had to put here the most important ones, or at least the ones who seemed to be more important

R.I.P Manuel Garcia Ferre, we´ll miss you alot....

Never heard of. But his style is akin to Mauricio de Souza, I guess? Anyways, it is depressing to know a good cartoonist passed away...

Me acuerdo cuando era niño que veia "Ico el caballito valiente" en vhs, que tristeza me dió cuando me enteré, pero ya estaba grande el hombre, Igual sus personajes nunca van a morir, siempre serán recordados.

RIP great man.
