Funny story: when I was in high school, gym class actually did have a unit on line dancing. I refused to attend, being terrified that if I did, the next thing I knew I'd own a truck, a dog, and speak in a slow country drawl. (To be fair it was a symptom of ADD that no one recognized back then.) Watching Mel, Jo, and Billie here, I can't help but wonder how it might have been, had line dancing been introduced to me in a far less intimidating, and more fun loving way.
