A warm Saturday afternoon settles over Hisui. Various trainers, Pokémon, and other folks go about their business on this rather typical day, most of them taking it easy and paying little mind to one another beyond casual interactions. A few trainers here and there are having friendly battles with their Pokémon, but other than that, things are pretty quiet today.
For the otter named Tarra, it's a perfect time for a swim.
Making his way to Lake Verity, the golden-tan mustelid takes a running start, then dives into the water, letting it soak into his fur. He's not aiming to head anywhere specific; rather, he wants to feel the flow of the cool lake water against his body as he swims. It's quite relaxing!
Tarra spends a good hour or so enjoying himself in the lake, enjoying everything that he can, before he eventually pulls himself out of the water to dry off. He forgot to bring a towel with him, but he figures he'll air-dry as he heads back home. Besides, the gentle breeze feels nice against his damp fur!
The otter smiles, humming softly to himself as he walks along the path, not paying much mind to anything else. He's ready to wash up, get something to eat, and-
Thump!
"Ack!"
Out of nowhere, Tarra finds himself suddenly pinned to the ground beneath a mass of blue and black fur! Held against the ground by a pair of paws, the otter is defenseless against the large Luxray that pounced on him and has him pinned down!
"Lux," they say, a triumphant growl in their voice.
Tarra squirms, but it's no use; the feline has him right where they want him. He's not going anywhere the Pokémon doesn't want him to go.
Instead, the otter decides to try yelling for help. He hadn't seen anyone else the whole time he was here, but it's worth a try. He takes a deep breath, then calls out.
"H-"
Squish!
Before he can get a sound out, the Luxray lunges forward and opens its mouth, plunging Tarra face-first inside the wet cavern!
Tarra sputters as his attempt to yell gets muffled by wet, slimy tongue, the muscle silencing his sounds as it presses against him and drags along his face. He squirms harder than before, trying to pull himself free from the feline's jaws, but in the awkward position he's in, he can't make any progress. All he can do is shudder as he hears the purrs of a cat that has something tasty in its mouth while he stares ahead at the rippling gullet just in front of him.
And that gullet gets closer as the Pokémon stuffs Tarra deeper into its mouth. A moment later, the Luxray swallows deeply, plunging the otter into its esophagus!
Wet muscles grip Tarra tightly as the creature swallows again, eager to have a wiggling meal within its belly. He's powerless to stop the Luxray, and despite his squirming, the only place he ends up going is deeper into the feline's body as they continue gulping him down. The relaxed thumping of the Pokémon's heartbeat and the steady whooshing of air flowing in and out of their lungs add to the soundtrack of contented purring and the wet flesh squishing against the otter's ears, making it clear that the Luxray is barely expending any energy in getting him down. His fate was sealed the moment the feline started stalking him.
Still, Tarra continues to squirm, even as his paws and tail are lifted from the ground. The Pokémon raises its head skyward and swallows repeatedly, letting gravity help slide its meal down.
A moment later, the otter presses against a tight ring of muscle that readily stretches open, allowing him to slide through and into the waiting chamber beyond. One last swallow from the Luxray sends him all the way down, and Tarra yelps softly as he's forced all the way into the stomach, made to curl up in a snug ball within the organ. The cardia squishes shut again once he's all the way inside, trapping the mustelid within the Luxray's belly.
Whining softly, the otter squirms about, trying to at least find a more comfortable position. He knows he needs to get out of here, but he has no idea how he'll go about accomplishing that. At the very least, there doesn't seem to be any digestive fluids in here – He's unsure what the Luxray's intentions truly are, but it looks like the cat isn't aiming to churn him up, at least not right now.
Tarra feels the belly swaying softly as the Pokémon goes about their business, the continued gentle purring showing him that they rather enjoy his weight in their belly. No doubt the Luxray's gut is sagging nicely as they walk, and the otter finds the gentle rocking almost relaxing, like being in a slimy, fleshy hammock.
It's still not where he wants to be right now, but it's far from the worst feeling in the world – And certainly, his situation could be a lot worse!
After some time, the swaying comes to a stop, before Tarra is suddenly squished by the weight of the feline as they lie down on their belly! He hears the feline let out a slow yawn while presumably stretching out, then gravity shifts to the side as they sprawl out, evidently ready to take a nap.
The otter wiggles a bit, squirming to reorient himself within the stomach – And by pure luck, his hands rub across the tight sphincter that let him inside!
An idea comes to his mind.
He listens carefully as the Luxray drifts off to sleep, the purrs fading out as their idle breathing slows down. Then, he decides to make his move.
As carefully as he can, he presses a finger against the cardia, wiggling it to work it past the ring of muscle. The sphincter resists at first, but the continued movements eventually coax it to relax and loosen, and Tarra grins as he slowly slips a second finger past, then a third and a fourth, before getting his whole hand into the esophagus once again.
He soon follows suit with his other hand, spreading the sphincter to reach further up the tunnel of flesh. Then, he nuzzles his snout past, ever so gently pushing his face through, followed by the rest of his head. Some more wiggles get his shoulders past the esophageal sphincter as well.
Tarra is a little surprised to find the esophagus is so yielding, not at all trying to push him back down, but he isn't one to question a good thing, especially not in his current situation.
Using his paws, he pushes against the far wall of the stomach to climb further up the tunnel, almost swimming through the tube as he makes his way along. He can soon hear the cat's heartbeat again, much more sedate than it was when he was being swallowed down.
Perfect.
Another push, and the otter's eyes widen – He feels the tightness around his hands loosening as they push out of the Luxray's gullet and back into their mouth! He's really going to be able to do this!
Though it's getting difficult with a lack of anything to push against, Tarra manages to work himself further along, until his head emerges from the Luxray's throat and pops back into the creature's mouth. He grins; he's so close to freedom that he can almost taste-
shlup
The Luxray's tongue suddenly pushes back against the otter's face, dragging slowly against him. A rumble builds in their chest as they start purring again while licking Tarra, savoring his flavors some more. The otter sputters, unable to move as he receives a thorough licking all over his face and head!
Then, the Luxray swallows, effortlessly sending the otter right back down their esophagus.
"No, no, no!" mumbles the otter as he's once again deposited within the stomach of the feline, the cardia squishing shut once he's safely inside – And this time, it remains tightly sealed, making sure he can't try to escape again.
He can't believe it. The Luxray was only pretending to sleep so they could taste him a second time.
The belly contracts, tightening around the otter, just before he hears a distant Boouurrp! The walls squeeze and flex idly, still not trying to digest him, but merely enjoying having something big inside the chamber.
Tarra sighs, giving up his fight. He does his best to relax within the chamber – It's not like he has anything better to do, after all. The kneading flesh admittedly does feel rather nice, and the humid warmth and thin air are lulling him into a rather cozy state. It feels like a massage and a sauna, combined in one tummy.
He lets out a yawn, slowly closing his eyes. He's here to stay for as long as the Luxray wants to keep him.
Part of him almost hopes the Pokémon doesn't let him go too soon.
