As the first step on my journey to try and create more 3D compositing animations instead of just simply stills, I decided to animate my previous image that I posted here. My boyfriend sent me this picture that I wasn't going to use at first as I haven't tried to make any macro content before, but that inspired me to try anyway and see what I could do with it.
Yes, the image in the background is a still. I animated Meow Skulls myself into the image using Blender, adding some simple manually-added camera movement (and a very subtle focus blur that I don't think anyone will notice), and now the image looks much more lively! I also added some sound and foley in Blender, largely using FilmCow's (Jason Steele) sound and foley back, with the cityscape sound coming from FreeSound.org.
Apart from this being a pain to render on my AMD GPU and having to use my other boyfriend's computer for his Nvidia GPU, which undoubtedly proved to be faster, to my dismay, this was a delight to work on! ^-^ But, I fear for what motion tracking live footage and compositing into video holds for me and my outdated computer.
Hey, if you like what you saw here, consider supporting me over at https://ko-fi.com/daymusik by leaving a donation u-u If it wasn't obvious, I REALLY need a new graphics card, but before that, I also need a new computer case to fit it in. I'm surprised my current one still works with how--... I'll just say, "haphazardly", I installed it into my case when it doesn't fit. Or, if you'd rather spend money to get something, buying my music over at https://daymusik.bandcamp.com also helps greatly! 😸🐾
