While farting around with eggman for some reason our new hero picks up some cazy ass new reading on his equipment,its some kind of portal,similar to something in his records called a "genesis portal" but with different wave signifiers,whatever that means,but some of those readings look familiar,a high degree of electrical activity at the same location was reported so a pit-stop to pick up surge was in order before arriving on location.
Pleasure pearl reason was later confirmed! It seems their power can cross even continuities if harnessing enough pure passion,though Dr Eggman seems unfamiliar with this supercharged chinchilla,she seems very familiar with him,for the moment the newly dubbed "pleasure portal" will have to wait while we deal with this shocking new development!

methinks this could be the start of a mini-arc if this were an actual comic,like a 3 issue bit "Thunderstruck" where the pearls abilities have escalated to break the boudries of IDW continuity (or whatever hodgepodge im establishing) as well as a very charged confrontation between two zappy rodents,surge seens very unenthused by the appearance of this newcomer,who knows if she will be able to stack up without some powerups of her own however >:3
