So what happens if there's a universe where Rob O' exists but Mari-An doesn't? Well, Jon finds another way to exist, thanks to time travel shenanigans and a very horny hero hedgehog!
Jon "Skippy" O'Hedge is the son of Sonic the Hedgehog and King Robert O'Hedge--who himself is ALSO Sonic's son.
Much like his royal father, Jon doesn't fit the bill of a prince at all, but rather a charming and charismatic rogue, helping the people of Mercia as directly as he can. He's taken Rob's penchant for archery to the next level, strapping custom crossbows to his hands and feet. While his foot-bows can only be used for close range, he can swap out the ones on his wrists for bigger ones, allowing for bigger bolts and greater distance. He makes a show of his moves, often performing acrobatic feats and rather sultry expressions and phrases to keep foes off guard.
The bows on his feet work on a pressure system, by curling his toes at a specific pressure, he can launch the bolt--this means he can still grip thin branches and whatnot without accidentally firing the bolt.
With the charisma and skill he's inherited from his royal dad and his hero grandpa-dad, he's definitely going to make for an interesting member of the court!
