Have you ever met a gryphon?
I saw one the other day.
I was walking down the open road
When a gryphon crossed my way.
He looked at me, his eyes lit up,
Like he'd been waiting for this chance.
He fluffed his feathers, strutted out,
And broke into a gryphon dance.
He said:
Gryphons only ever say "squak squak".
Every night and every day – "squak squak".
That's the only sound, it's "squak squak" all day long.
That's just what gryphons do. (squak squak)
If that sounds like you too, (squak squak)
You can join singing the "squak squak" gryphon song.
Only a gryphon
Could squak so perfectly.
That one special word
Is pure harmony.
I still think about him –
That pristine coat of floof so fine,
Glossy beak shining in the sunlight,
Marshmallow mane all puffed with pride –
When he said:
Gryphons only ever say "squak squak".
Every night and every day – "squak squak".
That's the only sound, it's "squak squak" all day long.
That's just what gryphons do. (squak squak)
If that sounds like you too, (squak squak)
You can join singing the "squak squak" gryphon song.
"Sing it with me now!
Three, two, one, go!"
