As Mizu’s babysitter, Owen was tasked with picking up Mizu from school, which Owen always enjoyed after a long day of classes. As usual Mizu rushed over excitedly, hoping his favorite person in the world was waiting for him. Words couldn’t describe the overwhelming feeling of happiness Owen would get just watching Mizu trot over, and much to Owen’s surprise, Mizu approached him with open arms.
Mizu: “Owen!! Owen!!! Can you please pick me up like you used to?” Pleaseeeee
Of course, Owen obliges and scoops him up into a warm embrace. Mizu clearly missed being held, but it was also more than evident that Owen missed it just as much if not more.
Owen: W-wow Mizu, I almost forgot how big you’ve gotten.
Mizu: Hehehe clearly not big enough for you to stop pla-
Owen: Shh Shhh!! Okay okay!! C’mon let’s go home.
Mizu: Can we get ice cream on the way?
Owen: *Pinches his cheek with a chuckle* Don’t push it.
Owen sets Mizu down gently, and takes his hand as they both walk away happily towards their favorite ice cream parlor.
