Part of me finally illustrating my take on Backrooms - leaning more into Half-Life's Xen if it comes to "fauna and flora" and Kitty Horror Show's Anatomy if it comes to origins, with a mix in of Ice Pick Lodge's Void and I opened the walls and found something beautiful by SlideshowDreams. A hostile space in between colorless void and mortal reality, existing out of spite and anger as a response to sentient beings dreaming of home. The place hates you and nothing is native to it, and in certain places you can fall even further into the Void that burns the colour and life out of you.
Background is an edited photo of a corridor I found somewhere on the internet.
