it's Technically mudkip day in my timezone (reuploadist's note: no it is not), so what better way to celebrate than to pick the most obscure variant possible just because i watched these videos way too much as a kid

i had a lot of fun with this sketch even if it took me a bit to actually refine and finalize the details, that's just how it goes when doing stuff with a character you haven't studied that hard before and then misremembering how pear shapes are supposed to work or somethin but i had a lot of fun with this either way

i didn't even realize how weird The Nose™️ was before i actively had to look at his design to draw it again, but otherwise they'd just be very cute to fatten and squished by, shy but full of energy or whatever
