Another day, another group of poachers trying to kidnap wild Pokemon for a quick buck. To say that this was a common occurrence for the many wild monsters of Pinwheel Forest would be quite the understatement, and it was getting to the point where many of the secluded mons that often stayed out of the way of the human routes began to more regularly scan the area more thoroughly, looking for suspicious activity. Whether they had a consistent chance at avoiding the mal-intentioned poachers, let alone succeed in fighting them directly, was a mixed bag to put it lightly. However, that did not stop them from trying to find new ways to evade capture and ensure that the forest is not severely damaged by the ensuing chaos caused by the ungrateful and disrespectful humans who continuously dare to break its sanctity.
Doing her best to lead the charge was a Leavanny whose power was a cut above the rest, Millefeulle. While not an expert in battling other Pokemon, she had too much strength and ability to not serve as 'captain' in favor of the wild Pokemon who are just looking to live their lives without so much human interference.
Sadly, there were far too many of those who weren't able to fend for themselves against the poaching and have already been captured, and patience was wearing thin on Millefeulle. Perhaps she stood little chance against either the tools these hunters were using or the tamed Pokemon they carried for protection, but if it meant there was a chance to protect the many who were helpless to the whims of those same humans, then it was worth it.
More poachers were likely around the horizon on a night where the new moon made their efforts both sneakier and more potentially effective. The forest was shrouded in an extra layer of darkness considering the heavy cover granted by its wide, thick canopy above. Even for the Pokemon who would normally be able to thrive in nocturnal conditions, such as Millefeulle, very little was visible to them. How frustrating it was, though, that everyone collectively knew that it almost guaranteed a much larger operation by the humans to steal from their land once again, either in capturing more of their kind or sucking the environment around them dry. The angered Leavanny shook her head and marched on with her solo guarding shift across the forest; they simply couldn't let that happen to their beloved home.
As expected, it wouldn't take too long for her to spot those humans daring to pilfer across their land, as if it were humankind's for the taking! With a single lift of her arm, she made it painfully clear that she had taken notice of those less than savory folks, quickly wrapping the pair of thieving poachers up in a tangle of reinforced weeds. Millefeulle could only sigh to herself, shaking her head as she paced towards the ensnared group of two. "And what might you be doing at this time of night?" She resounded powerfully as she spoke, even if it was likely that the humans could not understand what she, or any other Pokemon, tried to say.
However, as the notably powerful Leavanny continued to make her approach, she was ambushed by another poacher and swiftly attacked by their captive Houndoom. She could barely do enough to shift out of the way to avoid major damage as the powerful hunting monster tried to get in with a devastating fire fang. Even with the attempt at a dodge, the glancing blow was enough to still do noteworthy visible damage.
This sudden shift was extremely worrisome, at minimum. It didn't matter how strong she had gotten; she stood no chance against something like this, and to outrun it felt like a fool's errand, as well. Even if she were somehow able to make it back to regroup with everyone else who could help reinforce their defense, none of them had the tools to deal with a Houndoom, herself included...
It didn't take too long for the ambushing poacher and Pokemon to turn their attention to the other trapped ones and make swift work of the plants wrapping all over them. Those two let their own captive monsters out, a Luxray and a Kadabra. They were dangerously prepared for a big haul by the looks of this.
Millefeulle looked to her right arm, which was brightly singed by the lava-like heat that the Houndoom was able to produce through its fangs. Now instead of having an opportunity to scare two of these evil humans out, she seemed moments away from capture herself, but she wouldn't allow for that to happen! The forest needed her guidance and ability to keep it safe...
The ambushed grass bug tried to take a step back, but her body suddenly wouldn't listen to what she wanted it to do. Whether it was fear over her catastrophic carelessness or the actual paralysis that seemed to be coursing through her body--almost certainly as courtesy of the Luxray who had been giving a death glare the entire time it's been out of its capture device--all she knew as a fact was that her body wasn't going to make any moves while she looked the three intimidating monsters to their faces. She had to fight this, or she's a goner...!
The three poachers were fiddling with tools on their bodies, no doubt to make an effort in capturing her as their trophy of success. It seemed that they may not have been as prepared as they initially looked to her. If she could just break this paralyzing grip laid upon her, she had plenty of opportunity to turn this tide...
Still, something else felt off. Millefeulle could tell that whatever it was, it wasn't just the paralysis that was taking hold of her body. Instead of a numbing feeling that those electrical bursts are typically responsible for, she felt an increasing warmth that kept her from even feeling numb from the paralysis in the first place. Was this a welcome feeling? Was it only going to make things worse? Whatever she thought of it, she could do nothing to control as that sensation emanated even more strongly within her as time passed; the best she was able to do was hope it wouldn't make things worse.
Eventually, the poachers seemed to organize themselves enough to get together the tools they'd need to capture the Leavanny without any extra fuss, taking a large net launcher and aiming it right at the grass bug before them. However, before they made any effort to use it, a strange light began to envelop the desperate Pokemon, as the previously immobilized limbs slowly began to regain control. One quick look to their Luxray told them that it had stayed engaged and should still be keeping the forest Pokemon paralyzed by its presence, but the stubborn guardian wouldn't stay put. On top of that, it seemed as if their prize was beginning to loom ever so slightly larger than she was before...
Just as it felt like this warm feeling was going to start becoming too hot for comfort, the struggling Leavanny could feel her own body start to respond to her mental whims once again. Was that same paralyzing hold starting to weaken on her? She scanned around once again. Everything wasn't this small, though; it seemed as if her surroundings were half their usual size, if not a bit smaller than that, including the poachers and their Pokemon, all of whom she was previously dwarfed by. Now, she was the one who lorded over them by a significant margin, standing tall at a 7-foot height! Was this that strange sensation she was feeling all this time? From desperation, now she could feel little more than the rush of great power coursing through her, through both body and mind.
Panic was setting in as the Leavanny those poachers were about to take as their prize had not only gained full control of her body once again, but now had grown to just over twice her former size. Even the normally unflinching monsters to their sides were taken in with shock and awe at the sudden transformation. Sure, she didn't even come close to the sizes of truly giant Pokemon, but if this happened out of the blue, would it happen again? How frequently? How strong?
"You don't belong in this forest, humans." Millefeulle only looked down to the panicking crowd with a mixture of disdain and frustration; she was done playing games with them, now that she had a far greater power to rely on. The questions regarding this power would have to wait until she dealt with the greater threats here. Though, it would certainly help if she could gain just a bit more of an edge than this over the poachers and their Pokemon, who still held an advantage type-wise over her...
Her body flashed again, though, as if it were reacting to her very thoughts themselves, resulting in another doubling of her size. From 7 to 14 feet, now any possible doubts of the result were now all but resolved. And now, far more panic set in from both the poachers and Pokemon; they were well out of their league here! The least they could do was hope to scuttle away before this strange, magical Leavanny took any further advantage of the situation!
"Yes, run away, cowards." While Millefeulle was more than happy to see the poachers finally flee in the midst of her newly-powered form, she couldn't help but also sigh in a bout of intense relief. The fact of the matter was that she was lucky to have suddenly gained this unique, strange power. At least, it could help the Pokemon of the forest immensely in avoiding any more suffering at the hands of the humans. Admittedly, she was tempted to also give chase and try to give those poachers a taste of their own medicine, but the majestically large Leavanny was more interested in checking back in with the others and deeming her guard duty complete. Perhaps the others would have more insight on what it was she was experiencing.
It didn't take too long for Millefeulle to return to the main Pokemon hideaway within the depths of Pinwheel Forest, thanks especially to her newfound size. She seemed to grow more fond of this ability the longer she spent interacting with the environment at this quadrupled size, though her tune might change depending on what happens with this power next.
Needless to say, the much larger Leavanny garnered a crowd as she entered, looming over the rest of the smaller Pokemon. Of the bug Pokemon that already lived within the thicket, she was already one of the largest; at a respectable four times that size, however, there was now no question that she was the largest of all the forest creatures!
Admittedly, Millefeulle was cautious as she made her way through, suddenly having to take special care not to step on anyone or anything important. It was a careful tiptoe, though it could hardly be classified as graceful; it was obvious that she had only just begun dealing with this new height. She was constantly bumping her legs into some of the other creatures and constantly threatened to unintentionally tear down some of the crafted burrows within the suddenly-tiny hideaway.
It felt as though she suddenly didn't belong, even though many of the eyes looking up to her were doing so with wonder and intrigue, rather than fear. In spite of all the potential of alienation from her own groups and communities, they likely saw the same thing she initially saw as she fought those evil humans; she could act as their great weapon against all of those nasty humans, all at once! How couldn't they be excited at such an opportunity? Surely, Millefeulle also saw that opportunity, right?
Still, the dead of night in the forest was not the time to scheme anything big, both literally and figuratively. No matter how strong she may be now, she was still just as exhausted as she would normally be, sprawling herself out along the center of the group hideaway. Perhaps it was also the cold of night making her even more exhausted, especially in comparison to the fiery battle she had just dealt with, but regardless of the reason, she knew that sleep was the only immediate option on the table.
Before she could even get fully comfortable, though, she could feel some of the smaller Pokemon pushing themselves against her, especially the Sewaddle and Petilil, attracted by her immense presence and comforting warmth. Among her newly vast form, she witnessed them cramming themselves wherever they decided was best; some would crowd around her legs, while others would gently squish under her torso. Still, others would wrap themselves around the leaves making up her body. There was little care for exactly where they ended up upon her, both on top and underneath.
...
It seemed there might be far more uses to her side than strictly that of a fiercer offensive as revenge against the humans, just possibly...
---
As the shine of a rising sun finally cracked through the canopy, Millefeulle gently arose from her ecstatic slumber. It was so easy to think of what happened late at night as nothing more than a dream, but she could feel the gentle squirms and jostles of the tiny bugs still nestling themselves all around her; either she was still living in that same dream, or she was still her same quadrupled size as she was only hours before.
A night of rest was enough to at least clear her head, however. She felt a growing resolve to take advantage of this ability; this was the tool they needed to permanently supplant the humans. The Leavanny knew of the power she held, both to rule and to protect. Although, there was little she could do at the moment without waking half of her flock, many of them still entirely asleep against and around her. Was she really that comfy to be around as things stood?
Her mind raced far too much to reasonably go to sleep again, especially as more of the sunlight shone past the trees; of course, that would only make her even more active in the process. Scanning from left to right, it doesn't seem as if she's grown much, if at all, since falling asleep. What was the trigger responsible for those bouts of growth? Could she take advantage of them? It really didn't seem likely unless she had at least the slightest handle on how they worked. Also, could they even be reversed, or would she just end up growing bigger and bigger from these individual spurts, with no way to bring herself back down?
Did it even matter if she could or couldn't shrink back down, given the power trip she was already ecstatic to enact upon the humans?
It took another few dozen minutes for those many thoughts of hers to eventually desist, with Millefeulle's mind ruminating wildly on the possibilities that could come of her powers and their potential limits--or lack thereof. At least she had a bit more time of calm to herself before they hatched a plan to finally make those awful humans pay for their crimes against nature.
Soon after, the many small Pokemon that had taken shelter upon her grand form began to awaken and move away from her, allowing the well-rested leaf bug to finally rise up from the ground, stretching outward. Everything at this point, though, seemed to be yet another show of force, another showcase of her power.
To some small extent, Millefeulle smiled, knowing where that power would be aimed at next. For far too long, a large, developing city has infringed and encroached upon the borders of their lovely forest. Surely, one of the forest's primary guardians couldn't possibly let it stand, knowing that so many of those impudent humans came from those settlements nearest to them. Besides, maybe it was time for the humans to treat them like deities once again, fearful of their mere presence before the world itself. Oh, what joy that she could be the one to enact a new era of rule!
---
One step out of the forest, and Millefeulle could already feel so many excited jitters as a result of this venture. She could only imagine the many faces of her new subjects as she began her attack, especially if this power would start ramping up as she faced more conflict. Admittedly, that was quite a stretch to hope for that without a prior plan, but she felt too ambitious to let this slide by! She licked her lips in that same bout of anticipation; all she could think was 'finally.'
However, as she did make her way closer and closer to one of the nearby cities, there's no way that she could handle such scale at a mere 14 feet in height. That felt big when she was measuring up to a few thugs in the forest, but it wouldn't even measure up to the many buildings that towered over many of the forest's trees. How many humans did they have packed in such areas? Surely, asking for another spurt or two wasn't too much, right?
Ask, and you shall receive.
No, this wasn't just a doubling of size like the last two. The greedy Leavanny needed more than that to act as goddess upon these lands. Former gods were still too weak to supplant the humans and their growing development, their growing power; if she wanted to make a world where Pokemon rule once again, then she would need the power to quash any silly rebellion and disorder.
Doubled scale? Oh, no, she wouldn't just stop at such a minuscule size. It wasn't enough until she could make that city she was looking up at feel like little more than a tiny ant colony in her presence. Twenty feet, 40 feet, 80...no, that still can't be enough! Still, there were skyscrapers that somehow dwarfed her by a factor of two, surely she needed more...
For now, though, that was all she was going to get, the constant shrinking of the world around her finally slowing to a stop. She hadn't quite topped the century mark in her height, but it was a far, far cry from her regular, modest stature. After she had just gotten used to seeing everything 4 times as small as she typically saw them, she now had a new learning curve to tackle, one where what she normally saw eye to eye with had now shrunken down to being little more than toys for her use, if she so desired.
Was this the size of a goddess yet? Maybe it was enough to be equal with the lower gods, so surely that meant she wielded enough firepower to begin her campaign for godhood before these pathetic humans...
As a citizen of Castelia City, it was hard to understand what was going on at first as the morning sun made its first pass across the sky. Despite the lack of cloud cover across the area, a deep shadow crept up along the vast metropolitan area. It was enough to elevate concern, but not enough to be able to immediately understand what was going on. Still, if you followed the direction of the creeping shadow back to the source, you would end up with more questions than answers, left scratching your head as a great presence took shape upon the outskirts of this bustling community.
If it were just some abnormally large creature, then that would be one thing; there were tons of Pokemon that could dwarf a few dozen feet in the world. However, that's not all that was happening; this silhouette seemed to be growing even greater the more anyone looked in its direction! Combine that with the fact that said silhouette took the form of a lanky leaf bug, and you were left with something you likely wouldn't have expected to see!
There were still some lingering questions, even if it became easier to tell that it was a Leavanny, clearly blocking the sunlight that would have been headed into the city blocks. Questioning whether what the populace saw was real, though, seemed to top that list of questions. It seemed as if they would end up with an answer soon, however, as this massive silhouette began to make an even closer approach upon the city for which it had its eyes set on...
---
Millefeulle couldn't wait until her size matched what she wanted it to be; not when she was already close and large enough to likely gain the attention of many humans within the city her sights were set on. Even if it was going to end up the equivalent of a warning shot, she had to make some sort of move now.
Luckily for her, the city had some more urban portions, rather than purely metropolitan, which would be a great stomping ground even at her current size; the largest of the buildings barely reached to her hips, so it surely wouldn't be any trouble to begin terrorizing those areas, first!
It only took a couple of steps to reach the ends of the city, and while most of it was surrounded by a vast metropolitan landscape, there was one opening, a more residential neighborhood. Once again, she couldn't help but visualize the carnage she could enact, but now, she was in a position where those ruminations and dreams would end up as far more than immaterial thoughts.
And act upon those growing desires and thoughts, she would, with one initial, devastating step upon the sparsely populated streets below.
---
As the silhouette loomed and approached, closer and closer to the city's edge, it was soon accompanied by quakes and tremors, slowly intensifying more and more and more. If this wasn't a real phenomenon before Castelia, then it was an extremely convincing fake.
No, at this point, it could only be considered real. However, if it was really a massive Leavanny headed their way, what was it about to do? It seemed to be approaching with full intention, knowing that they stood in its way.
Every step only continued to bring the massive leaf bug closer to its destination, and the growing number of folks who were becoming aware of this godly presence. Maybe it wasn't so universally large, but it was still more than enough to be treated as a very real threat. Especially as it diverted its attention to a less metro-heavy area, it clearly wasn't here for the limelight of the city, and it was made more clear as it made its first step within city lines, effortlessly destroying the asphalt road it stepped on and sending a light shockwave across the rest of the nearby suburb.
Sure, that was plenty real enough, wasn't it?
---
Millefeulle's smirk turned to a snickering grin as she felt how effortlessly the normally stout material crumbled and cracked beneath her foot. Such a dominating force she could exert at a moment's notice...she felt so powerful now as she watched the ground tremble. Even with the surrounding area she didn't step upon, she clearly was sending extra shockwaves to damage even more than just the smaller area she directly stomped down on.
She had imagined this exact scenario so many times in her mind in the short time since she's had this power, but actually experiencing it in action, outside of just a thought, she couldn't possibly have imagined that this would feel as good as it does right now!
All of these grand emotions, all off of a single step...it was like a drug: this destruction, this chance to turn the tables on so many predatory and manipulative humans, the chance to use this vast city as a rite of passage towards becoming a new goddess of the land!
A second step eventually followed, once she was able to process the entirety of what that first stomp meant to her. This time, she aimed for a larger target, even if it was less sturdy than the firm streets: a hapless home sitting across that very street. This time, she was even more deliberate with her motion, now taking the chance to relish in not only the moment of the stomp itself, but the setup, the buildup to a successful intimidation attempt. She opted to slowly raise that leg up in the air, letting it linger a few feet above the roof of her building of choice. She could swear that the very foundation itself was already shaking in fear of the inevitable.
---
One second, two seconds, Three seconds. Time ticked slowly for those who lived in Castelia City's residential district after that first stomp, one which had no denial left in it; whatever was going on, this thing was as real as they all were, and now held a very threatening aura as it stood over them, a dozen times greater than any one of them individually. The leaves flared out and made this Leavanny feel even grander than it might have initially seemed. All the while, a smile grew into a mischievous grin...
With the way those large, widened eyes looked down upon the peasantry before this enlarged bug, the populace that was now left at its mercy had every reason to remain afraid as that back leg now made its move, bringing itself in on the defenseless community to join the first. However, this time it wasn't just a casual little step like the first; no, to match the mischievous expression upon that massive monster's form, the narrow foot stayed raised above its obvious target, a small home that thrived upon the further edge of the city.
Now, people were starting to evacuate their own homes and watch the giant out in the open. What kind of power was this, the scale of this kaiju before them? There was a split of folks who were running for the hills and those who somehow opted to stay behind and witness the inevitable carnage. Admittedly, it was quite hard to keep eyes off of such beauty, even if it was busy trying to flatten out the land before it and clearly enjoying every moment of it!
Still, would it present mercy to this home? The foot continued to linger above, waving ever so slightly back and forth. Would it dare to break this home, shattering it to pieces with no effort like one might dispatch an abandoned nest? While the expression hadn't shifted, there was still no telling how far this strange, large Pokemon would go to prove its point, whatever that point might even be...
A deafening boom struck the denizens to their core as the looming foot turned from threat to danger, pressing down and leveling the small house. No one had to look below the planted foot to know that all that remained was a pile of dust. All the while, the gigantic leaf bug still smiled and grinned. She wasn't just going through motions, no; she wanted her presence felt in the greatest ways, and she was only just getting started...
---
Oh, that stomp felt so much better when she waited for that buildup! She could just imagine how the growing crowd of bugs were reacting to her effortless destruction of their homes, quivering in fear but unable to look away. She could make an even more powerful statement as she looked to that very crowd, but that might be a step too far, even for her. So long as they could recognize her as their almighty god, then there was no reason to concern herself with handing down judgment in that manner; at least, she wouldn't deal judgment yet.
As she focused upon the fear-struck crowd, though, she could notice so many different reactions from the assembly of bug-sized humans before her. Some had their own captured Pokemon out, possibly ready to try to confront her threatening presence. Others simply stared up at her in awe, immobilized by a fascination of her godly existence. Others still looked ready to run away at the next sign of her approach, eyes widened and bodies shivering. All of them, however, were nonetheless her captive audience, looking to interact with her at varying levels. She was the star of the show here in the smaller urban cropping of Castelia, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
Her previous mischievous grin seemed to waver just a bit as her eyes scanned about the hapless town. She could certainly get used to being the one in charge around these lands, but how exactly would she use that godhood, that immense power she now wields? Would she just subject the humans to a passive rule, or would she rule with a far more demanding attitude? After all, she did want to show these humans their place under the collective heel of the Pokemon of the world once again. If she wasn't strict enough, then they might start to fight against her rule...
However, as Millefeulle continued to muse over what she should do, some of the braver souls before her took advantage of her idling form to approach even closer, getting dangerously close to where those two stompers of hers had already caused so much early destruction. Their intentions were unclear, but the still didn't waver even when the dominating Leavanny noticed their approach. Admittedly to her, none of those who were approaching seemed particularly malintentioned or sneaky about it, so she was willing to lower her guard and hunch over to get a better look at the group.
---
Be it bravery or stupidity, a small group of 5 to 10 people went against the flow of citizens taking steps back and opting to evacuate towards the more fortified metropolis of Castelia's downtown; instead, these brave--or stupid--individuals made efforts to bring themselves closer to the monster that showed such interest in wreaking havoc upon their homes and neighborhoods, even in a quick two steps. Looking up in wonder, there was just too much to adore from this oversized Pokemon's looks, even as it destroyed their streets. Besides, even if it might have been a huge stretch, it could still be the case that it wasn't just looking to cause irrevocable destruction. That first impression was not a very promising one, but hopefully it would be worth the risk; after all, the creature before them hasn't gone out of its way to cause more than property damage so far...
Even as the great bug looked downward at them, they didn't seem to lose their resolve, even if the idea of speaking directly to it hardly seemed feasible. How would they be able to do anything more than get the giant's attention through their tiny, puny forms? Even if they stacked up on top of one another, they just might reach halfway up to the hips, and would still be nowhere near earshot, at least to the point where they would be understood. Would it even be able to understand them even if they did get up to her, eye to eye?
Well, one of those two problems started to alleviate itself when the Leavanny itself began to hunch itself over, bringing its face so tantalizingly close to them. It still must have been about 10 feet away, but that was far closer than when it was still 70 feet away, and admittedly just as intimidating, even as that grin curled more into a natural smile than a smug, potentially malicious expression. After all, regardless of this Leavanny's shown emotions, it was still extremely capable to just crush the group of them under a single finger.
Deep breaths. At this point, they were already this far, so all they could do was hope that the bug didn't treat them like, well, bugs. Far too late to back out of it and escape the giant's clutches if it had a change of heart in welcoming them so close before the behemoth. Just wait and see what it would do with them...
---
Millefeulle was still quite confused by the courage of these few special human bugs who have decided to pace forth, looking her in the eye even as she leaned down for a better look. She could still notice those same fearful expressions, even if they were trying harder to hide it from her. They were practically shivering now, though, their resolve clearly not as strong as when they started to make their approach.
Hm, perhaps they wanted to try to make some form of contact with her? Petition for peace? Sure, these little nobodies in the suburbs were hardly the same as the leaders of this world, or those controlling the many groups of poachers that Pinwheel Forest had to constantly fight against, but some form of negotiations had to start somewhere, right? Besides, she had no doubts that her mere presence alone could start getting the attention of those most important humans.
While she hesitated a bit at worst, worried how these approaching humans would react to such an overt action, she gently cooed before bringing one of her arms down, stopping just in front of the group with an open gesture. She wanted so much to express that she was welcoming aboard, to get a lift back up as she stood. She was happy to give them an audience with her, hear what they might want to say to her.
---
'Please, come up, little guys.'
A great, booming voice seemed to shout down at them, from the direction of the large leaf bug's face. It was feminine in tone, and the expression from the Leavanny herself seemed to match the voice's command. But, how was it possible to hear the words of a Pokemon, let alone one as large and as destructively powerful as her?
Well, in for a penny. If she could make them understand her words, then perhaps it was just as possible that she could understand them in return. One by one, they climbed on to their outstretched...hand? It was more of a leaf, but it was what she brought down in order to carry them up, they imagined. Even though it should be nothing more than a flimsy stalk, with how large she was, there was more than enough space for all of them, and more than enough strength to keep it above the ground, even as they all sat about it with their collective weight.
Though there was a far more relaxed attitude among the small humans, they were still ready to brace themselves for whenever this arm decided to make its move; it was exceedingly likely that even with the utmost care from the giant controlling it, the motions would likely overwhelm their little bodies. Better to stay careful, rather than regret carelessness.
---
...Strange, the entire group of them--now that they've slightly separated from each other, she could see that the group had eight of them in total--were quick to all climb upon her hand, just as she tried to vocalize her desire for exactly that. Had they heard, let alone understood, her command being barked down to them? The humans never showed any understanding towards any of her attempts at speaking with them before this point.
Still, if they could understand her, all the better for Millefeulle. That same benign smile grew just a little more as she oh-so-carefully rose that same hand up from the ground, trying so desperately to keep that motion as slight and evenly distributed as possible. The last thing that she wanted was for these little bugs who finally mustered the courage to get up close to her to be thrown off by a combination of her powerful strength and equally powerful winds caused by that motion. While it was nothing more than a gentle lift for her, she could only wonder how that same motion would feel for those that don't even come close to a tenth of her size now.
While it took far more time than it normally would, she was finally able to bring that hand all the way up to her face from ground level, standing up tall once again. The Leavanny cocked her head to the side, trying to continue exuding a warm, welcoming expression to these special guests.
However, as she was about to speak, some new commotion had made its way over in the way of armed defense forces swarming around her, both towards her feet at ground level and across the rest of her body through the air. Right, of course they'd be trying to thwart any change of power, by any means necessary...
---
While it was a rather rough ride for the group of adventurous humans, it at least wasn't too turbulent, as the Leavanny holding them took immense care not to make the journey too harsh. While it took a minute or two, the leaf bug had fully raised herself up, and had her hand up at eye level. That smile grew, and now the humans were feeling far more comfortable with her presence. Was she having a bit of a change of heart? Would she still try to rough their city up? Plenty of questions, so few answers.
Just before things were calm enough to start trying to find a way to communicate, however, the foundation these frail humans found themselves upon shook quite ferociously! It was a great startling move, though no one was quite at risk of being thrown off of her. Fortunately so, since the fall back down was now a few stories high, and their fate would not be pleasant.
As the group scanned around, they could both see and hear a collective of planes and helicopters beginning to circle around the giant and, by extension, around them as well! How was there so much military presence around at once in response to this Leavanny?
Before they had much time to assess the issue, the group of eight were soon thrown into a chaotic mess as the Leavanny's hand moved far more swiftly, closing them off to the outside world before dumping them off somewhere. They had no way to tell where exactly they had ended up, but the skin they were pinned against felt very soft, warm, and welcoming, while the leaves that pressed them down acted more akin to a weighted blanket upon them, leaving them comforted even as they could still feel the raucous movements of their goddess around them...
---
Well, so much for broader mercy towards these pesky humans, but at least she may have nabbed some spokespeople for her once she finally completed her takeover, however long it would take. She closed the hand holding the group and held it close to her chest; she had a great place to keep these little pet bugs as she had to deal with this retaliation. The leaves that covered her chest, which had grown substantially in the wake of her growth powers, gently split apart and opened wide, allowing her to dump the eight of them within them and close those leaves back up, leaving them wholly protected against this unjustified attack.
Just as she finished securing her new tiny friends, she turned her attention towards the growing military presence as some of the individual vehicles began firing fierce concussive blasts. Even though she was still towering over these small vehicles, those weapons were packing a punch! It wasn't enough to topple her over or threaten that much harm to her, but how bothersome they were! Millefeulle's previous smile had fully disappeared at this point, and any of those previous wishes to negotiate were thrown out the window. Fine, if the humans want so badly to live a dark age under her rule, then that's what would come of their insubordination!
Very swiftly, the large Leavanny kicked the ground across, feeling plenty of metal crunch against her foot as it collided with those otherwise sturdy tanks beneath her. With those further away, she only needed a step to reach them and crush several tanks, one at a time, with fierce, devastating stomps. Now that both of her hands were freed once again, she began to use them to swat down the helicopters like oversized flies. Backhanded, forehanded, it didn't matter so long as they eventually ended up wrecked on the ground where they belonged.
As the carnage continued, Millefeulle could sense that all of these threatening machines lining up for inevitable destruction were starting to shrink down even more, along with the rest of the world near her. She might argue that it's come much, much too late, but she was finally breaking out even more, rising to greater heights. Initially sitting at just 80 feet in height, she would balloon to nearly twice that size now, a comfortable 150 feet and far more threatening to the taller buildings of the metropolitan areas. Maybe just one more growth spurt, and she would have no trouble securing the entirety of Castelia City as her own trophy, proof of her ascension into godhood; however, that was assuming that she was even interested in keeping the cities and towns across the world intact, a line of thought she wasn't too supportive of when the humans were trying this hard to subjugate her once again.
Now at such a large size, dealing with these pesky machines became even easier than it already was, and now she barely felt a tickle as the previously fear-inducing weaponry struck her vast body. Perhaps they'd be down to use this machinery in an effort to massage her body as it grew bigger and bigger? Whether it was by desire from the humans or by happenstance, it was still an interesting idea to serve as tribute before their new goddess...
Still, as shots continued to fire across her body, she couldn't help but sigh, knowing that she still needed to junk the rest of these military vehicles before they did anything more desperate. However, this time her strategy was different from making any direct action upon them, especially the aerial threats. Millefeulle grinned as she opened her arms out wide; she wouldn't make any contact, but was still in prime position to down all of those annoying planes and helicopters. She waited briefly, before swinging them downward with great force, far from any individual machine that was on the offensive.
She hadn't touched a fly, and yet all of those irritating gnats those pesky humans deployed soon lost all control of their flight and got flung to the ground, most often tumbling to their doom in a tight tailspin. Sure, she may not have touched them, but her very presence was so intimidating, so threatening, that the very wind before them kowtowed to her might, whipping up a fierce gust to make up for her movements. Oh, how it felt so cathartic. Oh, how it felt like destiny.
What was left of the tiny mites and their worthless machines finally rolled and flew away in a desperate retreat; perhaps now they finally knew the goddess they were dealing with, and how they never truly had a chance against her righteous might!
Now that there was a break in the action, Millefeulle held a hand up to her chest, feeling the group of humans she had unceremoniously dumped upon it. Even with how tiny they must be in comparison to her now, she could still feel out each one of them, all separated and scattered across her generous bosom after her newest growth spurt! Their little squirms were enough to make her giggle as she felt them, but at least those tiny little struggles were an easy way to know they were all okay.
Then, she looked out to the rest of the inner city. My, did all of those worthless buildings feel so much smaller now before her newest height! While some of the largest skyscrapers still barely stood larger than her new form, she now held far more confidence upon her ability to subjugate the rest of the city and the rest of the lands, growing and destroying more and more until she firmly planted herself as the new Pokemon goddess ruling this world, for the betterment of all Pokemon who refuse to accept the humans as friends or allies.
This was the time for a new era of enlightenment for them, and the giant Leavanny starting this could only smile at the thought as she stomped her way towards the rest of the metropolis she had spent enough time ignoring...
Considering the resistance she had ‘dealt' with up to this point of her takeover, it didn't seem as if the Leavanny had much to be concerned over in regards to the resistance they might mount as she continued to grow further. After all, her ambitions were far greater than staying at only a size capable of crushing mere cities; she still lusted for even more power than this! Given how her last few wishes were answered, it seemed that it was far more a matter of when, rather than if, it would occur.
Well, if that were the case, then surely, she wouldn't end up worse for taking her time and savoring that ascent, right? That smile upon Millefeulle’s face grew once again, perhaps looking almost sadistically down at the otherwise-affluent lands. Unlike the former suburbs, there were far fewer qualms in terrorizing these parts of Castelia; why would she afford any benefit of the doubt towards those humans most in power and benefitting the most from the suffering and exploitation of Pokemon on a global scale?
The Leavanny took a few more steps across the inner city lines, watching as some of the smaller buildings around her rampage simply crumbled to the quakes and tremors she caused with those massive stomps. As she felt the expensive, well-made construction collapse with as much resistance as wet cardboard might grant, her mischievous will only furthered her intentions to level this civilization; while part of that intent was to take revenge over the exploitation of their kind, another part was just relishing in the destruction and power she now held over the land.
-----
The imminent rampage of this inexplicably monstrous leaf bug only created more fear as the previously intact construction broke down to even the lightest of effort. The shining light of Unova was swiftly meeting its match, though that generous assessment was an undeniable understatement.
Each stomp echoed more resoundingly than the former to a group of humans who very rarely had to face consequential disaster in their isolated, protected land. Normally extremely capable of defending itself against rogue wild Pokemon attacks, Castelia City could grant itself no quarter for this assault; the Leavanny responsible hardly had to even enact its powers to get anything done in service to its obvious intention.
It wasn’t just the sound of those devastating, dangerous stomps that resonated throughout the heart of Unova; just as a heartbeat pumps past its starting point, the stomp tremors and destroys well past wherever the footfall itself landed. Devastating may be an understatement as to what will happen by the end of this rampage, especially as the monstrous being only seemed to become more certain in its desire to end this civilization.
It was plenty obvious to all who bore witness to it that the violence-lusting Leavanny wouldn’t stop with just this primary city.
-----
As much fun as she was initially having, though, Millefeulle began to bore of this mediocre size. Just barely towering over most of the city buildings, while still dwarfed by a few other greater towers, was not good enough for a prospective goddess. She needed even more power, even more control…
For a moment, the Leavanny, desperate for an additional surge of power, closed her eyes, hoping that she could somehow focus her power, this internal ability of hers. If she could just find a way to tap into it on a more consistent basis, then the sky may not even be a limit for her, who knows!
At the very least, she still felt that faded glow coming from her already-large body; her powers were still nowhere near maxed, and she could soon feel it pulsing from within her. She continued to try to beckon to that power she felt, only wanting more of it to help her in this attempt at not just the conquest of a single human settlement, but the subjugation of the entirety of the human species. This size was great, sure, but it just would not do…it would not do!
-----
There was already a major sense of unease and urgency present among most, if not all, of those dwelling within the insulated inner city of Castelia as this monstrous, lumbering Leavanny continued its chaotic rampage. Of those, the ones with the most to lose were the elite, as much of their grand, seemingly infinite volume of wealth had been invested into the heart of Unova with good reason. Now, this…thing…was trying to tear down all that they had rightfully built!
No, police alone would not do. They needed a full-on response to this extreme threat to their—erm, everyone’s—well-being! Nothing short of the military itself would be a proportionate response.
Of course, when so many of Unova’s precious elites are in danger of not only their lives but their hard-earned property, it takes no time for the usual bumbling, slow-moving forces to mobilize in a hurry, already doing their best to surround and ‘corner’ the vast creature. There was only one problem with this effort, however, and it seemed obvious to anyone except whoever was at the tactical controls of the strange, unusual military operation:
Tanks are quite difficult for humans to get around easily, but they were no issue for a 200-foot Leavanny to get around.
With no other choice, all the tanks could do as the gigantic bug continued its destruction unabated was open fire and hope that would somehow slow it down.
-----
A strange warmth before parts of Millefeulle’s legs caused her to open her eyes in a bout of annoyance. What dared to disturb her very important business of city breaking? Well, one look down would reveal that answer to the miffed leaf bug: a collection of small, dark green bugs firing minuscule stings. She barely recognized them to be the human inventions known as ‘tanks.’
Funny, they looked so much scarier when she was her former, ordinary size. Now, they try to sting her legs with few positive results. How intriguing that they’d try to do something that would obviously end up a frivolous effort in the end.
However, as she stared down her worthless opposition, she could feel a new power surge within herself; she could only smile devilishly as she allowed it to envelop her body, knowing what would come next. Come it soon did, too, as Millefeulle’s frame grew twice over, seemingly in response to what little resistance those puny humans were mounting against her.
Well, at over 400 feet, it seemed as if any potential of a barrier or limit to this strange power of hers grew less and less likely. Could she outgrow this city? This very region? This very planet?
Maybe that last consideration is just a tad soon, though, even if it’s admittedly quite a juicy thought. True godhood, huh…?
-----
Considering most of the emergency calls claimed to already have seen the Leavanny grow before their eyes, it should not have been a surprise to see that very thing happen as they attempted to corral the already seemingly insurmountable creature. However, while it may not have been that surprising, it was still a shock to witness, especially as said growth was enough to cause the being to slam its vast legs into the closest of their tanks, all without having to move an inch from its own perspective!
To see it balloon to twice its size in such a short time, from insurmountable to, well, more insurmountable? Even with the advance knowledge, laying witness to it is another thing entirely...
Perhaps nothing short of a nuclear response would be possible if such slim odds continue to narrow even further for them, but a covert mass evacuation of all of those who ‘deserve’ saving might be the greatest oxymoron to exist.
Or, it might be, if not for the existing oxymoron of a titanic bug.
-----
Oh, feeling those formerly fierce amalgamations of metal and gunpowder harmlessly crunch and explode against her powerful form? My, the humans were far too generous in allowing Millefeulle to show off her intimidating might with such minimal effort! If she spent any more time smirking like this, it might be the only thing she’ll be able to emote by the end of this rampage.
As much as she appreciates the very ants at her feet making an example of her newfound ability, she couldn’t just let them do everything themselves; after all, active participation is quite important when it comes to being a great ruling goddess…
-----
If the ground units of tanks weren’t enough on their own to get this immeasurable Leavanny under control, then the next course of action—arguably something that should have been their first course of action, given the already-large size it stood at when the defense against its dangerous siege started—would be bringing in air units, most notably their larger bombers. Surely, with its standard weaknesses, a bit of napalm fire would do tremendous work against the monster, regardless of size.
At this point, though, any consideration against a being towering over even city skyscrapers was nothing more than a fleeting hope at best and a frivolous effort at worst. Well, in for a penny at this point, as there was no hesitation at this point in bringing the big guns. All the while, they had to figure out a way to ensure that the powerful people who reside here are safely evacuated. It would still take a few minutes for those heavy reinforcements to arrive…
-----
Before Millefeuille thought to continue her rampage, she got to thinking about the suburb that kickstarted this little ‘campaign’ trail. Were smaller communities like that really where she needed to place much of her effort, if any at all? Was anyone living in those areas really at fault for the atrocities committed against her kind?
She looked down her own body; while she could no longer see where those she had stashed upon her form were, she could occasionally feel their movements, gently adoring the land on which they stood. Those were the vast majority of humans who lived within those less developed areas, so why punish them for the actions of those at the top?
Of course, that meant the opposite could be applied here; whatever reservations she might have had before upon the suburbs no longer mattered within the heart of Castelia City, where the vast majority of humans were the exact ones who wished to harm the wider community of Pokemon for their own gain. To Unova’s elite, they were so often seen as nothing more than pawns for their own monetary gain, so why not go nuts with the chaos and destruction?
Her smirk grew exponentially large, and now she made yet another move, using such a small step to send a big message as it crashes effortlessly into several other tanks as they scatter and retreat so slowly. Their combined might was not even as dangerous as a single tiny Joltik might have been. How sad, honestly; they used to boast such a big game when she wasn’t able to tower over them, so godly and immense…
-----
As a single afterthought of a step from the immense Leavanny exploded onto the ground, tearing the meticulously crafted asphalt to pieces and mangling multiple tanks at once in its wake, hopes only grew slimmer than ever. Still, they had to maintain their course of steady escalation of force, regardless of what the people—those people who actually mattered, anyway—wished for.
Luckily, it would only be a few minutes longer until their aerial units would hit the scene, flying up just beyond the reach of Castelia’s greatest towering structures. It was not lost upon those piloting these jets, fighters and bombers that even at such a height above the ground, they remained solely eye level with the giant’s abdomen. When they had initially mobilized, they still claimed that it stood under the highest skylines. Obviously, that had changed, so do they spend more time trying to fly up higher to get above this creature, or just hit it with what they have now?
Of course, hesitating on any plan of action could spell trouble for any chances they might have whatsoever, so perhaps it’s best that they just fire with everything they can.
-----
Well, it seems that more of these pesky ‘reinforcements’ decided to show up to be made an example of, not that Millefeulle was about to complain about having even more chances to show the humans just how nonexistent their chances of winning really are. Seeing those little fighter jets dart around her, all the Leavanny could think is how frivolous all of this looked from her own perspective. These worthless little flies were quite an annoyance, but what could they really muster up to a goddess?
While she was tempted to just immediately crush any hope the humans had in upending her new reign, she hesitated again. Why not toy with their emotions a little bit, give them a bit of hope before making any moves? She could do that, and it means that they might feel more compelled to submit to their goddess, hm…
For now, she’d opt to wait, with those piercing red pupils, each likely larger than the fighters swerving around her body, watching intently. If they really did threaten her as things stood, then she could always just swat them down like the flies they are.
-----
It was strange to see the massive Leavanny stop in its tracks, not really making any additional moves after the one stray stomp on some of the tanks still closer to its body. While those eyes continued to watch like a hawk, the monster itself kept its leafy arms down, almost careful not to do anything too much to everything going on around it. Was it frightened? It didn’t seem particularly tense, so was it just trying to bait them into their next move?
Could they really afford to wait and find out the hard way? They had to make their move now, whether they were being baited into it or not.
At the remote command of some nameless officer in a cushy station, the bombers began to rise further up than the fighters, which still swarmed about at abdomen-level to the cataclysmic bug. They had no issue getting up to a level higher than the beast currently stood; however, there was no telling if—or when, more aptly—it would grow yet again, leaving them wrecked upon the very land that was this titanic Pokemon. They had to get this done quickly.
And quickly, they’d get things rolling, as the back hatches of the larger bombers all opened up in unison, leading to a carpet barrage of napalm, hoping to strike upon the giant leaf bug and create a growing inferno upon its great form. After all, what good was size if it was all just as flammable as before. The bombs eventually connected upon the crown of the monster’s head, and all that could be done now is to wait for the incendiary bombs to take effect.
At least, they could only hope for them to take effect as they should. Surely, its weaknesses would persist even past the newly immense size it bore…
-----
As Millefeulle continued to watch over the fleas that flicked about around her massive form, she could notice several of the lot—mostly the slightly larger variants—fly higher up, eventually bringing themselves above her own stature. What exactly were they planning to do way up there?
Oh well, they still didn’t even remotely threaten her as they stood, so why not continue to wait and see what they would bring to the table?
It didn’t take long for her waiting to be rewarded as she felt something lightly bang against the crown of her head, only barely enough for her to even feel it at all. Was that an intentional attempt to cause damage to her, or did one of those pesky little flies get too close to the sun—that is, too close to the new center of the universe, Millefeulle herself?
She continued to wait, even with what little she was able to feel from them so far. Surely, there was more to their last resort than that, wasn’t there? And yet, there was something more that the monstrous Leavanny felt. The bad news for the tiny humans under her, though, is that what she felt could only mean one thing. She smiled with a further air of mischief, as she hardly had to feel shocked for this newest growth spurt of hers; this one felt like quite the world-changing one as well, but she would have to wait until it came into effect…
…Which, naturally, only took a few more seconds at most.
This time, there was no reason to pretend as if these puny gnats had any hope to overthrow this newly-crowned goddess, as her body absolutely surged now. Just another jump to twice her former height? Oh, no, she could—and would—do far better than that. A measly 800 foot height would be immediately shattered as Millefeulle climbed up, feeling so many of the worthless, inglorious ruins that would come of a once-feared military presence.
She cracked well into the thousands of feet, no less than a couple of thousands, in fact! Her height was easier to consider as just half a mile, as she looked down at a city that suddenly looked more like a tiny model than any real feat of architecture and engineering. Was this a scene that used to dwarf her form hundreds of times over? Now her two legs alone were digging immense craters into the very foundation of the city; the very idea of not being able to do this to any settlement daring to threaten her reign seemed unbelievable at best.
Now, what to do with the few parts of Castelia that haven’t been utterly ruined by her simple gigantic existence…?
-----
The worst-case scenario had come to fruition at this point. Not only had their most reasonable weapon for success failed catastrophically, but the monstrous being…well, maybe they should have wished for it to only grow another two times its size. As the immense Leavanny grew so much more immense, its very legs becoming difficult to see past at hundreds of feet on their own, whatever military presence was called to attempt to stop this monster turned to scrap metal and hundreds of humans lost—possibly for eternity—upon a godly body.
Every surge forth only made it seem closer to a region of its own than a mere Pokemon. It wasn’t a mere Pokemon, now standing higher up than the very greatest peaks of Unova itself; it was something more than that, and no one who had any knowledge of what was happening could deny it. Just by its very existence, standing over their pathetic, puny city, the ground of Castelia cratered before its weight, torn asunder by the immense aftershocks it was responsible for. Consider this Leavanny the greatest natural disaster to befall modern history, and it was only just getting started, as those many mischievous looks and smirks proved.
The greatest of Unova’s elite could do little more than gawk at their new godly ruler, whether they were willing to admit that fact yet.
-----
Even though the humans under Millefeulle were not even large enough to even be classified as mites before her, she could still feel that palpable tension and fear emanating from them as a collective; it was a sensation that was stronger than their collective physical power, and only fueled an ego that continued to grow as great as she did physically.
As much as she wanted to make some active move to show her power, what more could she really do to prove that she was the real deal, a new ruler to send humans back to the times of fearing Pokemon as the powerful beasts they were? Her very presence was causing a near-apocalyptic effect upon the once-great beacon of Unova, and the immense leaf bug, only growing more sadistic in response to this severe resistance to her inevitable rule, could only smile at the chaos that she was causing.
No, even this wasn’t enough. After all, she could still see portions of the ‘great’ civilization that haven’t been torn apart yet. With a single finger, she could change that, the act of a goddess causing irreversible change to her world…perhaps she should do exactly that…
-----
A great rumble emanated from the very air around Castelia, permeating through each of its inhabitants and unfortunate tourists alike. It had to come from the tower of leaf bug that continued to loom over the entire city, prompting nearly everyone—at least those who weren’t making some frivolous attempt to run for the hills—to look straight up, trying to see every inch of the titanic Leavanny at once.
While seeing its entire half-mile form from their current vantage point was virtually a pipe dream, they were still able to see enough to notice that its gigantic, leafy arm was lowering itself down, bringing itself down to the few intact areas of their disturbed settlement. Or, at least, that was the guess, considering that there were very few things for such a colossal digit to do aside from destroy…
Expectation soon met reality as that grand limb descended with great force and speed, making quick work of one of the few taller structures of Castelia that were still standing. It might be most accurate to say that it was turned back to the dust it came from, with the impact causing an impossibly great gale to erupt from that same singular finger, threatening to uproot anyone who dared to sit even remotely close to it—that is to say, most of Castelia itself was subject to these gale forces.
The hapless humans could possibly pray to their god, but there seemed to be no chance it would listen to their worthless begging…
-----
It was fascinating to Millefeulle to see how much power she now held, crumbling a once-great structure with the ease of tearing a wet tissue. As she dragged that finger down through a portion of the remaining developments—those that were still standing, anyhow—she was left in awe of her own power, mouth agape as she took simple notice of how much indirect damage she caused through only her simple movements.
She wanted even more. She wanted to shape the entirety of Unova with the fear of her presence. No, she wanted to shape the whole world. Bigger. Stronger. More.
…Though, if she continued to grow to even greater heights, how would she ensure that these humans were doing their job of worshiping her and respecting all Pokemon life? She could grow so large that she becomes their very replacement planet, the new Earth holding all the formerly grand regions it had to offer. One landmass across her breasts, another laying against her abdomen…perhaps the region of Unova could end up somewhere more personal, too, for being the catalyst to her godly powers…
Millefeulle hesitantly shook her head. She was thinking too far ahead, when she still had so much more to go; perhaps the best thing to do was to find her way up to those greater heights, now that she had finished so thoroughly wrecking Castelia. Maybe, as she waited for her continued growth to further cement her monstrously large godhood, she could show her presence to the many smaller cities and towns of Unova and shake things up across the region. News of her rise no doubt should have spread, so she could judge what to do to each depending on their reaction to her approach.
If, and only if, they were willing to accept her unanimously as their new goddess and ruler, she would consider allowing the city to remain…mostly intact, at the very least. She still had to make sure to cement how swiftly such fragile structures could fall if they dared to try usurping her rule.
Once more, the Leavanny looked down upon the ruined metropolis of Castelia, and then closed her eyes, feeling the absolutely puny, desperate motions of the many humans littered across her vast body. A few ‘lucky’ ones were able to join the suburban folk against and around her breasts, while many were stuck in less glorious spots, scattered against and under her legs or stranded atop her head…
Funny that, though. She didn’t think that she’d still feel those individual movements, both of worship and of fear of what they were gripping upon. That mixture of emotions coming from those minuscule humans felt like a surge of power all on its own. If she could strand entire cities against her bigger, greater form, would that power continue to surge even more? Would it result in even more intense growth? She did still have so far to go if she wanted to become a permanent ruler over this worthless species, unjustly claiming these lands for themselves!
Or, perhaps she was already experiencing the effects of this power caused by those already stuck upon her grand form, as she looked down again to see the city several times smaller than it was the last time she had looked at it! Now, forget just obliterating a city block, she could destroy entire smaller towns and cities! She must have been at least five times her former size, so swiftly reaching a pair of miles and then some. It was strange that she was experiencing the surges in far more mundane ways now, but at the same time, it fit quite well to have them feel more commonplace; after all, as a goddess, it should be a normal occurrence for her to grow in order to suit what needs to be done to the unsalvageable.
Or, at least there’s a large number who are truly unsalvageable. Luckily for her, it was quite easy to differentiate the ultra-affluent from the everyday person who likely wasn’t being nearly as malicious to Pokemon. Perhaps she’d dare to even decree that such individuals were entirely deserving of her protection and fortune? As a grass-type, she was sure to have many ways to provide shelter…
As much as the Leavanny wanted to delay having to think about the rules and what her next move should be after thoroughly breaking any will that the elites may have had before, well, there was no longer anything else to do aside from that. She has already succeeded in proving her superiority over the broader region of Unova.
But perhaps she could still squeeze out a little bit of fun from the isolated inner city of Castelia; there was still so much to threaten and stomp down upon, and whoever she was hurting was part of the problem anyway, so who was she to care about the casualties? They deserve every bit of her divine punishment, she continued to remind herself. Her legs even quivered as she thought about those hapless buildings, the ultra-expensive investments that they were, so vulnerable to even her indirect movements. Did she even need to touch the buildings to force them to be knocked over? Somehow, she doubted it, and that only excited her even more.
Was Unova—or this entire celestial body they all stood upon—worth keeping, though? After all, so long as humans roamed, could she really stop every one of them from committing some form of unforgivable atrocity against her kind? The thought was tempting, even if admittedly short-sighted.
Millefeulle’s imagination continued to run wild, though, and with that active imagination came a consistent growth that continued to rocket her size upward, more and more into the range of a true worldwide goddess. From a pair of miles, she had so soon grown to well over 10 miles, leaving whatever remained of the city to ruin. At this point, the many towering skyscrapers of human invention—or even the once-grand natural peaks that existed upon this world, were little more than the grass formerly tickling at her feet, making those who lived in these cities nothing but dust to be cleaned up under her feet. Her vindictive measures were far easier to enact, though all she could think was to find a way to utilize her powers to force human compliance towards her…
Although, did she really have to go that far? At this point, she had grown so catastrophically large, to the point where she didn’t have to care about what those worthless humans were thinking or doing; she could just bulldoze any of their weak intentions in an instant, just as a single drop of water could destroy a small anthill.
…Well, at the same time, she did really want to do that, and who was going to stop her from achieving her dreams now?
Stepping back, the leviathan of a Leavanny crossed the entirety of Unova in one go in order to submerge herself in the deep waters beyond the continent. Even the deeper depths of the ocean could only shroud a portion of her titanic frame. From here, she could keep watch over all of Unova, spotting each individual town and city—or lack thereof, in the case of the newly crafted ruins of Castelia’s former glory. She brought one of her hands forth, dragging it gently across the ground and watching with glee as she uprooted everything she touched.
No, there were plenty enough who were happy to worship her as residing goddess, and so long as they were willing to stay in line, well, why not let them continue to exist, so long as they remember who runs the show now.
Though, finishing the job she had originally started would not have been a terrible idea. Most of the elite did use Castelia as a base for all of their heinous, anti-Pokemon conspiracy; those who were willing to respect and worship all Pokemon wouldn’t miss this inner city, still trying to sit as a central beacon to all of Unova.
Now, Millefeulle had grown large enough to be able to hover her entire hand over the city from her spot within the ocean, covering its former vastness just as she wanted to be able to do. She grinned, almost able to feel the latent fear from all those she could ruin in but a fleeting moment, especially those most egregious leaders and ultra-rich responsible for her former suffering. She tensed up with anticipation, and slowly lowered it down, its mere presence doing so much to collapse and crumble the rest of the city without even laying a finger quite yet.
One closing of that very hand was all that she needed now to snuff out the shining beacon of Unova for good, and officially announce her rule as Unova’s goddess, a guardian to all Pokemon from afar.
