"Twas three in the morning, and all through Ly's house,
Not a creature was stirring, except for a mouse!"
Babette chuckles to herself as she muses on her version of the poem while sneaking through Apartment 1028. She's been over to visit her friend Lysergia a few times now, but there's something she's been wanting to do ever since she met him.
The mouse has always had a fascination with felines, and meeting one who's every bit as friendly toward her as she is to him (and not so much bigger than her that she'd have to catch a plane from one end of them to the other) has been wonderful! But recently, she found out he has a particular interest that she herself finds fascinating.
He likes to be eaten.
And ever since Babs saw his indigo-colored mouth, she's been curious to find out what it would be like to be eaten by him!
Obviously, this isn't something she could just up and ask Ly to do. What if he found her weird for it, or worse, what if he stopped hanging out with her, or told her other friends about it? It's far from anything she'd expect him to do; he doesn't seem like that kind of person. But still, she doesn't want to risk things going wrong!
But her curiosity is too strong to ignore any further. She has to know what he's like inside. And after days of planning, she's opted to sneak into his home while he's sleeping and see if she can tempt the cat to eat a mouse.
Although the lights are all off in his home, Babs knows her way around Ly's apartment quite well. "Twenty paces straight ahead, turn to the right, forty paces this way, hang a left, then continue until you reach the door," she thinks.
Sure enough, once she squeezes beneath said door, she feels carpet beneath her paws and sees the faint glow of a night-light beside the bed. The black-furred, white-striped tail draped over the side confirms she's in the right place!
Using her mousey agility, she quickly climbs onto Ly's bed and makes her way past the sleeping cat's pudgy, naked form to his head.
A quick wave of her hand confirms he's out cold, breathing softly as he remains soundly asleep.
Perfect.
Well, almost perfect. He's still got his mouth mostly closed.
"Easy fix," Babette reckons.
As delicately as she can, she places her hands on the feline's lips; one on the upper and one on the lower. Then, she gingerly spreads them until she can see his teeth. Thankfully for her, they're parted enough that she can juuust squeeze through without hurting herself.
Excitement grows in the mouse. She's really going to be able to do this.
Carefully, she takes her phone and turns on the flashlight, aiming it into Lysergia's mouth to get a better look.
Babs shivers as she sees the deep indigo flesh within his maw. His teeth are a pristine white, and his breath is still faintly minty from when he brushed his teeth before bed. Although he's on his side, his tongue rests almost invitingly against the side of his mouth, rippling softly from the involuntary twitches of his muscles. The surface is surprisingly smooth; far from the rough sandpaper one might expect of a feline, Ly's tongue is more bumpy than anything that might hurt someone. It's a detail she's never noticed before!
Looking toward the top of his maw, Babette takes in the details of the rough, ridged palate, mentally mapping every contour there. Beyond the palate rests the softer velum, which leads to the cat's gullet behind the dangling uvula. The mouse finds the appendage quite adorable, hanging almost sideways like this! But her attention is drawn to that throat, watching as it squeezes softly, perhaps in anticipation of swallowing something.
And she's determined to make that something a mouse.
As gently as she can, she steps forward before turning sideways, keeping herself as narrow as she can as she squeezes past the cat's sharp teeth. No doubt they're quite an intimidating sight to any rodent, even if he'd never willfully use them to hurt anyone, but Babs shivers from the thrill of being this close to them. It's dangerous, sure, especially with the feline asleep like this; he might react without knowing what he's doing! But that just makes it all the more exciting to the mouse.
After what feels like an eternity, she makes it past the cat's teeth – Just in time, as the moment her tail slips inside, his jaws close, trapping her fully within his mouth!
"Oh… Oh, gosh… I'm… I'm really inside…!"
Standing on the teeth, Babette relaxes in the humid warmth within the feline's maw, the aroma of strawberry mint surrounding her. And as much as she knows she needs to be careful, lest she accidentally wake her friend, she can't help but feel the tingles of thrilled excitement now that she's right where she wants to be!
Well, almost. But all in good time.
But suddenly, Babette's expression falls as she realizes something – She doesn't exactly have a plan for how to get from point A to point B. She needs Ly to swallow her, but if he isn't awake…
"Aw, rats," she mutters. "Hmm…"
She places her hands on the indigo tongue in front of her, pressing against the slick muscle softly. It indents a little beneath her hands, and she shivers, beginning to stroke and caress the bumpy papillae on the surface.
As she does this, she notices a small puddle at her paws – Ly is drooling softly, either from the massage to his tongue or from the taste of a mouse in his mouth!
"Yes, that's it… Enjoy your little-"
Her words are abruptly cut off as Lysergia presses his tongue against her, pinning her to the roof of his mouth! It strokes idly against her form, soaking her in saliva while tasting everything it's able to reach! Every inch of the mouse receives a thorough licking, utterly drenching her form in slick cat drool.
Babs grins at this. It feels amazing! She wiggles softly like a struggling prey, trying to tempt the feline's natural predatory instincts further. And much to her delight, it seems to work, as he begins to slide her further back in his mouth!
Soon enough, she's standing right at the top of his throat. She shivers again as she gives his fleshy uvula a gentle hug. Then, she takes a deep breath and climbs headfirst into his esophagus.
As if in response, the cat takes a slow Glllp to send her down, guided by the squeezing contractions of peristalsis.
Babette holds her breath as the esophagus works her deeper into the feline. It's every bit as amazing as she could have imagined! Completely surrounded by her friend, she shudders in deep delight as his muscles roll to slide her along the tunnel.
The slow thumping of a resting heartbeat and the equally relaxed sounds of breathing reach the mouse as she's squished along, making her smile as she hears her friend's body working even in his sleep. It's quite reassuring to her to know he's in good health!
Soon after, she presses against a tight ring of muscle that holds taut for a few seconds before relenting and letting her inside. The mouse slips into Lysergia's warm stomach, sliding along the folded walls until she reaches the bottom of the chamber.
Much to her surprise, she finds it to be completely empty – Not even any fluids occupy the organ right now, save for the natural slickness of swallowed saliva.
She truly has the belly all to herself!
"Oh… Goodness… Wow… It's… It's incredible in here!"
Shining her light around, Babette admires the folded rugae within the stomach, shifting slowly and idly with natural contractions of the smooth muscle lining the organ. The deep indigo flesh, glistening with swallowed saliva and whatever traces of stomach fluids remain in here, offers the mouse quite the cozy surroundings. And though she was half-expecting to be immersed in a foul miasma in here, to her surprise, it doesn't smell bad at all; it's more of a wet, calming scent than anything offensive!
It's heaven!
Babs presses her hands against the rubbery walls of the stomach, rubbing slowly and gently to show her love to the sleeping feline.
At least, until gravity shifts to the side… Then downward.
"You know, you could have just asked me, Babs…"
Stunned by the sudden voice, the mouse lets out a squeak, realizing Ly must have rolled onto his back before sitting up.
"Wait… How long have you been awake, Ly?"
The cat chuckles softly. "About when I heard you climbing onto my bed. I'm a very light sleeper, heheh."
There's a gentle thump as he pats his belly. "Go ahead and enjoy your stay; I'll let you out in the morning, okay?"
A sigh of relief escapes Babette, glad to hear he isn't upset with her. "A-Alright… Thank you."
Gravity shifts again as the feline lies back down on his side, and the mouse snuggles into one of the folds of the stomach in turn.
"Goodnight, Ly."
"Rest well, Babs."
