In one of the laboratories, Hornet found the princess herself: a small ant with long, protruding antennae, dressed in a white lab coat. She was standing near a microscope, examining something, but upon hearing the sound of the airlock door opening, she turned and greeted the spider with a smile:
“Aunt Hornet, you’re finally here!” Said Cadenza and, stepping closer, gently hugged the spider (trying not to touch her clothes with her surgical gloves, which were smeared with something sticky). “How are you?”
The character in my fanfiction is one of Karmelita’s three daughters — Princess Cadenza — who has devoted her entire life to scientific discoveries.
