males have lips that flush red during the breeding season. your lips are very sensitive and can pick up textures your hands cannot, so they press and brush their lips against everything to see if its edible since they have no eyes.

females have no lips, just teeth. unlike males, they bite-test everything and its not fun. they’re primarily scavengers but eat vegetarian too. especially fermented fruit.
they make a lot of grunting noises and probably sound like elk bulges which is super creepy
