The kind of sigh that pre-empted a mental health check up every week after that from worried family members. "Yeah, did it have wings too and tell you the gospel of god?"
"Screw off...I know what I saw, and I'm not going hunting in those woods ever again, and neither should you!" I gazed out at the forest, the tall evergreens that once gave me shelter, now housed shadowy beasts from my nightmares.
