I think your statement of "is it immoral to draw? yes" is too black and white, although obviously the overall message isn't, and thus some people are too quick to jump in being knights for something they don't want labeled as objectively bad.
Cub as a kink is something that, like many things, more nuanced and does have some genuinely valid causes for concern. For example this site? We all know the types that run it are scum that explicitly protect things like "zoo pride" posts and only begrudgingly banned pedos from openly identifying but won't ban pedos themselves. It's used as a grounds for actual harmful people to connect and harmful material to spread behind the scenes and with IB being the "cub site" it will naturally follow people associate those issues with being a byproduct of cub itself even though it's not.
You can like cub art and still have the normal disgust towards pedos because cub doesn't make you one yourself. They don't even share any similarities to someone with a functional ability to differentiate fiction and reality. I think your actions of stepping back and thinking on how you want to go forward speaks towards who you really are as a person and I imagine people that matter will see that instead of just having kneejerk reactions and assumptions based on what you draw.
