On their second meeting, Forge accidentally caught Ursa in the blast while taking out a monster. Grabbing Ursa and her friends he brought her to his family home (and universe) to heal her and help her recover. Meanwhile, Forge's adopted daughter Ember has gotten her hands on Ursa's helmet to have a little fun with her cousin Sundance. Funny how this is the real beginning of Forge and Ursa's relationship.

This one shows an interesting problem I've been having lately. When I come up with a heartfelt image, something just has to be added to it to make it funny. I wonder why I keep doing this.

Okay. I don't know much of the lore of your art, so let me see if I've got this straight. Sundance, the feral pony, is the cousin to Ember the anthro pony. Forge, the human, traveled to the universe where the Gummi Bears exist, fought a monster and almost killed Ursa, one of the Gummi Bears (I remember her a bit from the old TV show), brought Ursa to his universe to save her life. Am I right so far?

Yes, right so far. Ember was the first pony to gain an anthroform in my story, followed shortly by Sundance's mother, who's also named Sundance (G1 love to repeat mother and daughter names and designs a lot!). Thanks to another of Ember's cousins, Lickety Split and an accident with an artifact ( https://inkbunny.net/s/3217486 ) most ponies can now shift to an anthroform and back.

Yup, Ursa's Earth is a parallel to Forge's, though it got a later start and is still pre Renaissance.

Oh. Is Twilight in the drawing you linked to the G1 version of Twilight Sparkle's mother? (I recognize the 5 star pattern in her cutie mark.)

No, my Twilight far predates Twilight Mist who's Twilight Sparkle's mother. It seems there's another "repeat pony" in Twilight Mist. My Twilight has a daughter named Noddins who's part of Jenna's (Forge and Ursa's bio daughter) crew.
