He couldn't help being born during the mascot wars of the mid to late 90's. Or being rushed to market after Mario 64 blew up the 3D platforming genre forever. His first game wasn't too bad, but the hype afterwards is how he got such a terrible rep.

Yeahhh was a rough time for Bubsy haha! I enjoyed the 2D platformers, but he never survived the jump to 3D. We'll see how the new game shakes out.
