Character Description
Black raccoon dog/fox hybrid with red markings and ringtails. Longer than normal ears thanks the fox characteristics. A distinguishing curved scar over his sternum.
Personality
Happy-go-lucky, compassionate, hardy, determined to the 11th degree, competitive, very reckless, prideful in his abilities, and very much a showoff.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Music, fighting, the rain, coffee, waffles, staying active (usually by freerunning and training), doing suicidal stunts, and his Russy x3
Hates: Idiots, being reminded that he's heartless (that includes Heartless jokes), when people hurt his friends and family, coffins, Mephisto.
Background/History
Jazz Redgrave is naturally a nice guy wiht a magnetic personality...that gives way to a tempermental and dare-devil maverick/brawler in a heartbeat. A certain event in his past made it less that horrible, but it helped mold him into the person he is now. He's born from a brilliant but lazy, 'retired merc' of a raccoon dog father, and a sweet, but martial arts savvy vixen mother. Growing up, most would say he had the perfect life, and he thought so too. When he hit six, however, his life got derailed when circumstances left him a hanyou, without a heart, and trapped in a hellplain called the Infernium. By extreme luck, he managed to get out with some help a year later thanks to an unknown source. As time went on, he became more formidable thanks to both his parents and his devil-blood, made a lot of friends along the way, made even more enemies, and had acquired a wonderful love and talent for the art of music.
Now Jazz is a demon hunter, had acquired some property through questionable means, is happily in a relationship with his girlfriend and mate, Ruslana, and is currently playing godfather to his best friend's son.

Abilities
-He's pretty good in hand-to-hand, but excells in using his sword in a both unorthodox and formal styles.
- Thanks to his father, he knows how to use a firearm, the handgun being his favorite due to the accuracy.
-He's very fast on his feet, and knows how to use the enviroment to his advantage.
- High tolerance for pain
-Thanks to his demon blood, he has an enhanced healing factor, though grievous injuries tend to take a while to heal.
- His extremism is second to none. He'd do things that other people would think too crazy to do, for instance, take a stab to get to his opponents.
- Stabs through the chest are useless on him, since he has no heart.
Weaknesses
- Has SEVERE claustrophobia. He only starts panicing if he's in a tight space with someone else, but by himself, he will litterally start causing bodily harm to himself trying to get out. He shudders at the thought of being in a coffin.
- Holy places make him weak and uncomfortable.
- Is EXTREMELY allergic to holy water, as in 'MELT THE SKIN OFF OF HIS F***ING BONES' allergic. (it takes a LONG while for the skin and muscles to grow back.)
-Has bad luck. Unless his life's on the line, there's always ONE misfortune that follows him, usually non-life threatening, like a ball to the groin.
- Has a short fuse for people who INTENTIONALLY do stupid stuff, and an even lower patient for idiots altogether. ...and...well, just a short temper.
- Is known to do near suicidal stunts.
- Has a voracious appetite.
Fighting Style:
Jazz's fighting style is an evasive/strike hard strike fast kind. His sword styles include just going with pure sword swinging rage, pretty much freestyling, using sword and scabbard for a ballanced offense and defense, and sword out of sheath style for strong (but slow to combo) attacks. He's always aware f his enviroment, knowing that it can be useful to him He's known ot use his gun given an oportunity, hell, even using it to throw off his opponents. Lastly, he's known to be a bit of a show-off wth his moves, looking badass, but sometimes he gets carried away All in all, he's an unpredictable, savage, and prideful fighter.
Body
Stands at 6', seemingly normal build that hides a wiry set of muscles, has black fur with red markings on his hands and forearms, feet and shins, red dots on the back of his ears, a dip in the shape of a quarter note on his left forearm, a red mask with a bar in it over his left eye, two red ringtails, and gray eyes. Ambidexterous.
Clothing
Always has a red, sleeveless, leather hoodie-vest (that self repairs, thank god) and worn jeans. Sometimes, he wears a brown overcoat that compliments the hoodie-vest. It's rarely ever seen though.
Accessories
headphones worn on his neck, a brown and black leather bracelet, a black iPod, a katana with the scabbard strapped behind his back, and a gun which he keeps in a holister on his left.
Sword (Serenity and Chaos): His main weapon of choice, made exclusively by his father, so it will never break. The scabbard can be used as a means of primary offense as well as housing the sword. Jazz can also shoot off arc's of energy by slashing the air, but it's rare that he uses this ability, as it eats up large amounts of his demonic energy.
Gun (Mr. Bullet Time): Another weapon courtesy of Jazz's father. This gun runs on Jazz's demonic energy, but such a small amount that he can fire endlessly, or charge up shots for slower, yet more powerful blasts. There is, however, a reload lag that requires Jazz to cock the gun before firing again after every 13th shot.
