I've idolized dragons since I learned of their existence, thinking them to be the best at all that they are and do. They are the coolest creature in every story and picture they appear in, and featured universally in memorable stories.
The release of the film "Reign of Fire" blew my teenage mind, and I set to sketching the wyverns it featured as best I could. At the same time, dragons gave my mind some place to go where the seemingly insurmountable troubles I faced could not tread. So I wrote the words that came to mind as I gazed upon these creatures, regardless of just how dangerous and ferocious others may have perceived the reference material to be.
