And here we are! The first art of year 3! And what better way to start the year by expanding my repertoire with some accurate snake preg! Or pregg? She's 100% gravid right now just trust me it's there!
Had this idea in my noggin' since last year but last year was last year so didn't end up happening as fast as I would have liiiiiiked but as soon as I wrapped up my last piece I knew this had to be the next thing I did! Simultaneously easy and hard given the nature of snek preg being it's kinda hard to tell she's preg but in practice it's just a matter of drawing the body thicker! Was gonna go for a naga form, but that didn't really work out so I just settled with extending her arms a bit more!
And as you can probably tell, once again flirting with the idea of dithering! I've got a soft spot for it as opposed to regular shading, but sometimes it just doesn't work and is just a lot of muddy visual noise. Still, I think I did well this time, even if my understanding of proper lighting still eludes me-
